Congratulations to a well deserving group of young ladies. It never hurts to have a completely dominant pitcher that can also hit the crap out of the ball too. The part that no one is making a big deal out of is the fact that this is a Northern California team with Norcal players. They finally stayed home, after all of these years, and banded together as ONE team to bring it back to Norcal. Lets hear some props from our southern friends.
No doubt that some of the talent left the team but they managed to pick up, with great timing, some excellent talent in Ricketts, Salanoa, Schultz and others to help a very strong team to the GOLD Championship....well done.

I know who you are talking about and actually she did get an inning or two and also DH'd a game. Might have played more then your daughter. She left Sunday morning for a good reason but knew Keilani would take tehm all the way, as she did. Sorry to disappoint you, NO regrets playing for the Sorcerers.

Nor Cal Gold Ball has taken it on the chops for many years a little chest thumping is ok here.

Bottom line is Sorcerer dominated, in more ways than one...

8-0 including pool play...

Ricketts with 4 shutouts in tournament play.

They scored a combined 36 runs including pool play with 29 coming in tournament play. I seen everyone of those kids contribute 1 through 9 so it was a great week for all of them.

Go ahead and celebrate...thing is this though...Gold ball never stops, tryouts are this weekend and celebrations are short lived....

Sorry to disapoint but I have no daughter on the team...I was just giving credit to the Sorcerer team for their acheivement. Every player on that team contributed in some way or another to them winning....whether they played in the championship game or not. I was simply speaking of the Sting Gold's early implosion which in turn helped the Sorcerer after their mini exodus. The remaining core of players was a "good fit" and they proved it against some very talented teams, many of which had lots of returning college players I might add.
No axe to grind...congrats to the Sorcerer organization and their families.
