Can a player drop down to a lower Div. after state?????

Can a 14 u player who is age eligable to play 12u drop down to a 12u team if her 14u team is not going forward with ASA? She did play in the 14u State Tournament.

Not unless the entire team was 12U playing up a level.

No. Doesn't matter about entire team. She was registered with ASA as a 14u in a qualifying tournament.

No they cannot drop down they can play up or the same age group but cannot go down.
Unless that rule changed but we had a girl a few years back that was not allowed to play down.

Call your new girl that has been playing 18 Gold and tell her that you are sorry but she cannot go with you to Normal Il
