We have had a lot of top 10 and top team lists over the years. I thought since 10U is now coming to the PGF family it would be great to see a list of the top 10U teams.

I could change it to see who are the top 20 teams would that be better F10

Uno, I have no issue at all with your heading. Maybe you misunderstood my statement. I was stating, who actually asked PGF to have a 10u nationals? Most of these girls are fresh out of recball. This is a joke to have parents and young girls focus on playing in a national tournament at 9 and 10 years old. These families have 7-8 years to chase that dream if they start at 12u. This us clearly a tactic to make more cash.

Just like the cash you pay to ASA for 10U Nationals in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, etc. My DD had a blast. I don't think they focused on a National anything. It was fun for them staying in hotel a long way from home and just having fun with their friends.

What is the problem with young athletes playing for a national tournament?
Some of the girls on these teams have been out of rec for over two years. They practice, work hard, take private lessons, etc.
The kids work hard to get better at the sport they love, so why allow them to compete?
This doesn't mean that your have to take your team and compete at PGF... It's an option if you want it is there if not then go have some fun in rec ball, shut down the season in May and go back to your league the following season. The teams that are serious about it and have the chance to go then it will be a great experience. They will play some ball, stay in hotels with their friends, have bonfires by the beach, listen to former Olympians speak, watch older girls play.... Etc. All these things will be an inspiration for them to have in their memories to continue to play the game they love at a high level. Perhaps some might be inspired to work so hard and make it to college... Who knows maybe some future Olympians will be playing there and will look back at this as the reason they continued with the game.
Playing sports teaches a lot of lessons... Let's stop being condescending to these young ladies and their hard work! How about let's appreciate the future they have in front of them... After all they are the future of softball and our nation
