ASA ACE Certification

What about the 18 Gold So Cal Classification qualifiers in January and February. Is one coach in every dugout required to be A$$ certified sorry I mean ACE

What did they do at Sportszone last weekend? That was an ASA Northern Nationals qualifier. I assume they had to waive the ACE certification since the website is still not up or is the certification only required for USA/ASA qualifiers?

The web site was supposed to be up and running again by the 5th of January.

I wonder if ASA and eteamz are ran by the same person?

From what I understand www.RegisterASA.com is having some problems with the ACE testing portion right now. And it should be corrected soon.

For your infomation coaches and players can register as usaual.

Anyone that has already registered for 2009 and was not able to take the ACE test will have the chance to do it after the registration has been completed and the ACE testing has been correct at the same cost as you would have paid while doing it with your 2009 ASA registration and new I.D. Cards will be issued with your ACE Certrification listed on it at no extra cost.

Web site was up and running yesterday. Was able to watch the video and take test.

Is there a flaw in this process? Why does ASA require only one coach or representitive to have the background check? Why not all the coaches and dugout lingerers. What if there is a coach out there who WAS convicted of a crime that would disallow them to be on the field? Maybe it was a long time ago in a different state. Are they gonna say, "I'm not taking that test, I do enough. One of you other coaches take it to satisfy the ASA." I don't really care if all coaches complete the ACE certification, but a background check should be required on ALL coaches.
