We better be careful, Donnie, we are crossing dangerous ground here. Uno may send us to the cornfield.

Uno, I will be rooting for the Irish. Can defense beat offense?

If they played in an East Coast conference they would have been in the BCS championship game, the east coast bias is blatant. I think they are better than Alabama.

Was really impressedby Oregon. Speed is just sick. Hoping Kelly stays, he's built a great program and fun to watch.
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

On a couple of side notes, a kid my son played HS football with last year down here at LCC in San Diego was a freshman this year at Michigan (Eric Magnuson). Are you familiar with him, Anon?

Also, speaking of the Irish, I have shamelessly name-dropped this particular young man before, but one of my very best friends from my college days at UH Manoa is WR Robby Toma's dad. His mom was also a good friend.

Go Irish!

Magnuson has a good chance to start at LT if Lewan decides to declare for the NFL, which probably won't be made public until next week. He's the #2 tackle in the draft if he goes, and stock had to improve off the S. Carolina game. Personally hoping Taylor stays and Eric gets another year as his protege, learn the complex blocking schemes Borges employs, can then step in as a RS Soph and anchor the line for three years in what will continue to develop into more of a pro style offense. NFL tends to be keen on Michigan LTs, so the future is there.

Did Hoke know Magnuson locally when at SDSU? Was he recruiting him there too?

Yep exactly. He recruited him early on when he was at SDSU.

I'm hoping Chip Kelly stays too because I don't see him being successful in the NFL without any prior experience in it - the game and culture are too different. He should just use the interviews as leverage with Oregon for himself and his staff.
