I think the number is something like 80% of all mass killings are done by mentally ill individuals- 60% who got their guns legally

Perhaps more should be done prevent the mentally ill from obtaining firearms(something the NRA supports , but mental health advocates fight)

I may have been premeditated, but by a disturbed mind with a shaky at best moral compass. I am not giving this guy or any other's like him an out, just that if we know the cause we have a better chance of figuring out how to prevent them in the future

This guy woke up, had a plan, killed mom at home, drove mom's car to mom's school, shot mom's boss, shot every one of mom's students, then took his life. It was premeditated and he saw his plan through. Society's ills creates mental illness, what people experience in life creates mental illness, add Hollywood's crap to a weak mind and we get what happened today.

They are connected to a point. Bri Williams' brother was mentally ill, but also one with a belief in God. It made what happened there even more tragic.

I have no problem piling on the Hollywood crap though. It is desensitizing at best.

If you are taught to fear what happens after death maybe these idiots would think twice about there actions. Oh poor guys was depressed, so what everyone gets down every now and then. I think the Ten Commandments are a good guideline for society, the world would be a better place if people just tried to follow them, don't you think? ACLU, Liberals and Progressives hate looking at them. Why? Being in softball, #4 is not alway followed, but we try.

I couldn't stop thinking about my kids this afternoon. I can not begin to fathom the pain these families are going through.
