Save your money and go play NSA, Lakewood is going, CA 94, Batbusters

actually I have no idea, I e-mail ASA numerous time but I have a better chance of finding Osama bin Laden than I do getting a answer from ASA. ASA is horribly ran. We all need to grow a pair and boycott ASA for a year or until they get they stuff together. Triple Crown is ran 100 times better than ASA. Lets see, you can go Midland Texas, Bum F%^k Alabama, Sh^t hole Georgia or we can all go to Utah to a beautiful area where the humidity is not 100% and still play the best teams is the country. As long as all the Cal team all go there you will be playing great competition.

The problem I have with this tournament that ASA is in charge of is the cost for the teams. As far as I have been told it cost you the Tournament Fee PLUS everyone on the team, coaches, parents, have to pay tickets to Disneyland to be in the tournament. Now is this fair to ALL teams in ASA? What about the teams that are just making it money wise! The parent who is doing all they can just to keep their daughter on a travel team. Now ASA puts on us a qualifier that requires A LOT of money for us to get into?? Just does not seem fair to all the teams out there. JMO

After you pay your tournament fees it will cost about another $1000 in Disney Tickets. Then you have to use the tickets before Mid December, they can't even use them for Christmas Vacation. Just like most ASA events it is unorganized and hard to get any answers.

The mandatory purchase of the Disney tickets is exactly the reason we are not playing in that tournament..... Too expensive just coming back from Nationals, times are tough for many families, school just started, Holidays are coming up, etc....Just not worth it. I think it's sad that they force teams to get the tickets, and then they put restrictions on their use. I did hear if you already have a yearly pass you don't have to buy a ticket -- but how many of us buy yearly passes to Disneyland? Yikes!
