Dodger, it's just pool play. They'll see the stronger teams in Bracket play like Austraila and of course...Japan. No different than the Olympics...gotta weed out the bad teams first.

Outscoring opponents 63-4? Not trying to hurt any feelings here. Just calling how I see it.

This is no different than any other International softball event. There are only a handful of teams that are competitive.

That's one of the biggest reasons (if not the biggest) why softball got booted from the olympics.

No it is because Easton withdrew from voting. and that being said is another good reason to buy American Made Anderson and Worth bats :)

That was the first I had heard of that Uno so I Googled it and found this link:

http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/ol ... ysoft.html

After reading it I'm not sure if that's a fair assessment. Looks to me like he thought his hands were tied and tried to correct the situation, even to the extent of selling off part of Easton.

I have read all the stories and he still did not vote. He assumed they would boot his vote, assumed. Now ugly letters and boycotts and a bunch BS excuses in my book. Sorry if I seem a little sour about this situation, that is because I am sour about it. I would not buy any New Easton products until Softball in back in the Olympics. jmho
