Did they really block teams based on Memorial Day? I thought that was a baseless rumor.

Arnaiz is insanely dangerous. We saw people in the stands and in the walkways getting hit with line drive foul balls. Some of the foul ball fences are only 8 feet tall. Huntington Beach and Diamond Valley's foul balls are the pop-up kind and people have time to take cover. The best part is that people pay admittance to get hit by balls. I suggest that the city should use some of that money to build proper foul ball fences.

Well, it was posted clear as day on their website at the time. There were several Norcal teams that didn't even bother trying to register, whether Bob had changed his mind or not. And this past weekend, while Stockton was canceling a tournament for lack of teams, the tournament in Sacramento was very well attended. I think a shift is occurring.

Dont really understand why So Cal teams would even bother driving to this tournament. I could have chimmed in earlier, but whats the point? Nobody listens. Tournament IMO is a waste of time and all baseless hype. If your from Nor Cal, I guess its better than nothing, but is that really saying much? I didnt attend this year but I'm sure it was the same BS as in years past.

Not to sure yet? I have seen plenty of changes and have heard of a lot more coming in the Stockton area. Eventually it will come down to the dollar. How much will a team spend traveling the extra miles and possibly the stay in hotels.

Umpires are still the big problem. The Stockton area umps seem to have a big chip on their shoulders!(most of them anyway) They are ruining a big effort from the TD's trying to get things right.
