Any updates on this tourney? (Winners)

[Cen Cal]

Tri County Smash beat the Dirt Dogs in the final of the 12u.

I haven't seen result, but on the norcal page they say 14U went like this:
Breeze 97 over Salinas Storm in the gold bracket (top 24 teams),
Sorcerer over Lady Magic in the silver (3rd and 4th place pool finishers)

Almost no SoCal teams showed up (except SoCal Choppers) Was there something big in SoCal this weekend?

yes the gas prices

I thought Choppers would win it

[Love the game]

10u Watley over Gamers Championship
2-1 double ITB
SoCal handled the 10u division. Although AASA played very well
1.Watley
2.Gamers
3/4.Rage and Strike Force
5.Firecrackers

[Berad]

Nemesis Elite from Downey was representing So-cal in 14u with first and only loss in Semi against Breeze. What a great game!! Congtrats to Breeze!!

I would say SoCal Handled NoCal - Pool play games Saturday:
SoCal Teams - 192 runs against NoCal teams - 16

Final Pool Games Scores, Sunday Seedings and Final Sunday Brackets have been posted to the Fresno Force Website. Thank you to all the teams that attended.

So Cal Choppers Black inquired about the tournament, but didn’t make the trip. Hemet to Fresno back to back would have hit the pocket book pretty hard with the current gas prices. Stayed closer to home this weekend and participated in a friendly.

Funny...the top SoCal organizations expect the top teams from NorCal to travel to play them in the best tournaments in their area throughout the year. But, when some of the better teams from NorCal show up to an extremely reputable event in Fresno (not Stockton, Sacramento, or the Bay area) the teams from SoCal are virtually non-existent??!!

Very disappointing indeed. Can you please get over yourself and get in your cars and "travel" more than 100 miles next time. Not too much to ask from your respective opponents north of you...
