Who You Think Will Win 14U Nationals!!

by crowhopsoftball » Wed Jul 14, 2010 11:14 am

I a friend of mine said that the TEXAS CRUISERS played 16U all year and stayed down just too WIN 14U NATIONALS and is a sure lock to win it all. The conversation went from a calm pleasant softball discussion into a screaming match who will win 14U Nationals, California or Texas!!! So good luck to all California 14U teams at Nationals especially when you play a TEXAS team show no mercy!!
It's a good pitch if you get away with it!!

Sorry Texas, CA is going to be the one.
You might even see two teams from the North part of the beautiful state of California be in the mix as well... ;)

Although the North state has a couple really solid 14U teams, the physical maturity of the top "95" teams that So-Cal puts together is tough to match up against, even the Power Surge listed as a 96' team. The girls are huge and can mash (1 thru 9) against pretty much ANY 14U pitching. The thing about it is, if you get past one of them in bracket play using your #1, later that day another is staring at you, and its tough for anyone in those heat/humidity conditions to be effective back to back especially against top tier opponents. The TOP So-Cal teams that have two very solid pitchers and mashers cruz thru the winner bracket (just watch the bracket) and play one or maybe two games a day. Saw it last year and the year before. Nor-Cal top ten finish very possible, a Sunday showing I would like to see but doubtful JMO.

San Jose Sting and Sorcerers could very well place high in the tourney from Nor Cal. The sting won the sparkler with some great teams entered. Whoever said Lady Magic is out of their mind. They didnt even qualify. After those 2 teams , it will be quiet in NorCal. A couple more will finish top 20 but thats it.

Power Surge is looking pretty strong for the win again. The AZ teams are actually going to be going with a full head of steam but I'm sure it will be either TX or CA.

We just moved here to Texas from SOCAL area & the team your are talking about are the AMERICAN LIBERTY SOFTBALL KRUIZERS 14u. I believe they are playing 16-18u most of the time here.I have seen them play and they do not have a chance.GOOD LUCK CA.
