Anon, they are the "not ready for prime time Ozone Girls" ;) They lost to OCBB 2-1 and PS96 3-2 Int. tie breaker. Ya gotta say they played some outstanding softball this weekend! Good job Ozone Girls you should be proud. :) :)

Congratulations to OCBB and PS96 making it to the Ship!

Had a chance to watch Ozone outstanding job! Wicked 95, Firecrackers 95, Corona Angles 95, So Cal Madness 95 were all beaten by Ozone 96 in bracket play! You are officially the NEW TNL (i.e., late arriving ASA State & National contenders who play the side circuit until May and can contend for the big prize!).

I guarantee that no one will want you in their bracket at ASA So. Cal :) ….. and there will be no PowerSurge 96 to stop you in ITB again! :D

Also have to give a hand to So Cal Madness 95... 8-) . showed something almost never found in a So. Cal Team... the heart to fight from first game losers bracket to finish 4th. You are a top team and will be reinstated back to your rightful place in the new 14u poll.

North County San Diego! A very good team........ not sure what happened to them in the Cal Cruisers tournament…. but I bet half of the field at State are hopping they struggle with the 96s!

Madness 95 just trying to maximize number of games for a better $$$ value at tournaments! After just under 9 hours of straight softball we must have been breaking some kind of softball rules. I think the girls were talking about overtime so rumor had it.. Really proud of the girls!! They played with a ton of heart!! Great games all day today. Good teams and great sportsmanship. Congratulations to the winners and all who competed.

Did they pick up a pitcher since the Cal Cruiser tourney? Or do they have a '95 pitcher that was still playing H.S. ball that weekend? Does anybody know if they are a mix '95 & '96 team? I know it says Ozone 96 so... just curious.

Ozone is an all 96 team. Ace pitcher is a 97.

Hey NU. I heard before the game they agreed to play 1 game for the ship. 7 innings.

But after the outcome, PS over BB 6-1... something may have changed.
I'm gonna take this right foot, and I'm gonna whop you on that side of your face...and you wanna know something? There's not a damn thing you're gonna be able to do about it!

The pitcher from Ozone had a great weekend. She stayed focused the entire time and was not intimidated by the big name teams. GOOD JOB!

Ozone only used one pitcher? And she's a '97?
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.
