Jay and Julie Creps as well as Ann Isaacson are 3 outstanding people...Dealing with Ann now and she is awesome and have dealt with Jay and Julie while managing in older age divisions in previous years...If ASA had more of them we would have to find some other organizaion to be the BUTT of so many of our jokes!...3 good people for sure...Answer emails and phone calls....That's all it takes....Sadly, ASA is filled with many more who don't answer emails and phone calls....Lorrie Ivie is great too...She is the best of all of them! Hard working lady!!! Really cares about the kids!

Did he not keep enough players to keep the berth?
Did enough players to take the berth go to any other team?

the coach left the team to form Victory 95 and took only a few players. Teamsmith's core tried to stay together , but couldn't find a (new) coach. What a shame

Number of states with 80 teams at 14U state: 1

Number of states that should have 80 teams at 14U state: 0

13 berths this year. It was 12 last year and it used to be 3 :o
Longest drive is probably around 3 hours for the San Diego teams

I LOVED that. I am so glad they didn't change that until after DD had aged up to Gold.
State was an unbelievable war with 3 precious berths on the line.

Spazsdad, what team is yours? If you're still in it on Monday, I might take a trip
up to Lancaster (not all that far for me). Assuming state still plays on Monday (It is on Memorial day weekend isn't it?).

So it's a doub elim format just like ASA nats ? you make the winner's Quarter's and you most likely get a berth ? something close to that. MD
