Anderson Bat Q & A

What's on your mind?

by nicki216 » Wed Apr 28, 2010 12:42 pm

hehe thats what I was kinda asking what it is worth now? I will take a picture of it later and post it on here if it lets me that is...I looked earlier and didn't see any on ebay..I'm not greedy just the avg going price for one..I'm tired of it sitting in her old bat bag...she never used that one either because her coach at that time insisted she use the 04 rocketech and once you get something in these girls heads it stays there.

The "little Cheetahs" team has no 33/23 that are "team bats"....Hey tumblebug....If my DD swings a 33/23 synergy...is the 34/24 Nano the right fit?

I can't give you a definitive answer specifically for your daughter but I can tell you that he girls at the upper end, meaning they are swinging the heaviest bat they are capable of with no wiggle room, would benefit by buying the same size Nano and give their batspeed a boost. Girls that are very comfortable with a specific weight might want to go up one. It's still about feel and personal preference.

I think $200 is fair for the Nanotek and my paypal is ready. :D

Just got my daughter's 30/20 NanoTek today. Thanks to Natalie @ Notorious for shipping this out 2nd day air via UPS on the same day I placed the order, great service and highly recommended!

I can't wait to see what this thing does at practice tonight, should be interested. One question, I noticed the endcap is different from the late model RT's and TZ's, was a different material used? It seems to be a lot less robust than the other endcaps.

I am interested in hearing more feedback of the NanoTek in comparison to the Techzilla & Rocketech if anyone has any to share. My dd (10yr old) has been swinging the TZ for almost 2 years now, and very well at that. She got the NanoTek on Thursday, and has been through quite a few balls with it so far. In my opinion, the TZ still has a lot more pop compared to the NanoTek. She definitely has more bat speed with the NanoTek, but the ball just doesn't leave the bat like it does with the TZ.

I've read a lot in terms of older girls saying the NanoTek has more pop, however those girls are indeed older, bigger, stronger, etc. Does the NanoTek need much break-in time at all? I was under the assumption that it did not according to the description from Anderson. At this point I'm considering returning the bat and purchasing a new TZ, as I think the '09 is starting to wear a little bit that she currently has now.
