Yeah, the "crow hop" thing isn't cool if done more than once or twice (haven't seen it called since the rec days) but it's better than having parents blow whistles and yell "balk" every time you throw a pitch in travel baseball but nothing beats scoreboard.

The worst part is that most of these parents probably were yelling "crow hop", when the pitcher was really "leaping".

Just wanted to say...So Cal Boombah had a very positive experience. Very well run tourney! Congrats to the FireCrackers! We played them in our pool. They were a class act, all business. We will be back next year.

Uno,
We enjoyed playing in the Beat the Heat. Especially, the 1:30 no new, 1:40 drop dead. We were able to play close to 6 innings every game! The fields were nice, the competition was great and the umpires were good.
One of our pitchers commented that you used WORTH balls (a favorite) and we loved not having to supply the balls!
Of course, the snackbar was a highlight!
Thanks for adding 12U events to your tournaments - we will play in them again.
