Power Surge will eventually be classified as a gold team. As several teams decide to only pursue Premier, they will relinquish their gold classification and teams will be added. That is why two teams have already been added.

They were oh so close. Crazy game into ITB with AA's. Just couldn't quite shut the door. Last couple innings sounded like game 7 of the World Series on that field.
Let's go for the green!

Actually, the 2 teams that were added were done at the Classifier. They got the "tiebreaker" via these rules:

There will be 36 teams playing in this tournament with 18 classification spots available, that means the last 2 spots will come via the official tie breaking system as follows. 1. Head to head, 2 Teams that advance furthest in the winners bracket, 3. Win Loss record, 4 Fewest runs allowed, 5 Most runs scored 6 coin toss.

SoCal Rebels and SoCal Spirit got in based on this (only 16 teams "classified" by winning their mini brackets).

The next four are:

OC Elite - Christina
RBI Monarchs
Riverside Rookies
Powersurge

My question would be, when will teams decide to drop out and not play ASA Gold? If its after the deadline to sign up for Gold Regionals, it won't matter will it?
