But no where near the top level of teams of last year Firecrackers '99 only team that is on same type of level as Franchise,Victory, Crunch or even American Athletics of last year. So in a way yes more teams but alot of mid level type teams ie Desperados and Dynasty of last year.
Well this certainly is the year of "quantity" and not so much "quality", so yes I do agree with you. It seems on the whole the pitchers last year were a grade or two higher on a lot of teams in 2009 than 2010.
Crunch, Franchise, AA, Victory all had strong #1's and #2's and other then Firecrackers (CF99) I can't necessarily say the same this year. A girl like "Dora" @ Crunch98 pitching a true/real 50mph even in the fall 2008 a yr ago hasn't really been seen in 2010 so far (closest I would say is the Jynx pitcher) and when I hear these coaches talk about their pitchers doing 52-54mph (a 'parent' told them that ---just had this conversation a week ago with a coach), who just doesn't know what he is talking about, sorry coach!!!
What I do like this year more than others is that right now #2 onward is up for grabs and a lot of teams could step up and improve and take things wherever they would like. Not saying they can't take #1 but last year 1-4 was pretty tied up one way or another and the only reason why Dynasty 98 qualified was because Crunch had their berth from Western's the yr before and didn't enter States. I can still see certain top 15 teams with the right adjustments qualify still and last year barely had 10 active teams.
I like this year much more than last year overall...
