by SoCalFiend » Wed Dec 09, 2009 12:53 pm

Check out the Heybucket tournament section and see the Firecrackers Mother's Day Classic...
May 7,8 and 9 2010 in Cerritos, CA (10 minutes from Knotts Berry Farm, 15 min from Disneyland)

Don't guess who will be the best at Nationals, see them first hand ahead of time!!!!
We have personally invited all the top SoCal teams (10U, 12U and non dark 14U)... and most have already confirmed!!!

Only a few spots remaining....

You can also visit the MDC Website:

I must say that it is somewhat impressive that a local NTX 12U team has already signed up to compete against some of the best teams in the country. I guess the Team Mizuno National Team is taking this next season pretty serious which is great for NTX!?

I agree. No offense to the Shadows but that's a long way to travel just for pool games. I do like that structure though, making the younger teams earn a spot in the bracket.

Could not resist,

It's obviously too late for a formal invitation to CA. Our going to CA was already planned before joining Team Mizuno and I have to thank our founder for letting us in the door and being part of an organization that I think will be great. We are very proud to be accepted into Team Mizuno and have been well received by all staff and members.

My intention was to ask a few teams around here in NTX to join us heading out West. That invitation is still out there. It doesn't hurt to play the best in the nation, I believe. We want our girls to see the best, to be able to experience playing the best in the nation. We thought that this would be a great idea as this tournament is being held just 5-10 minutes from where we lived. Carson and Los Coyotes Diagonal right next to where Tiger Woods played Jr. Golf, Heartwell Golf Course. Lakewood voted best Sports Town by Sports Illustrated in 2006 or '07 I believe, that's our old neighborhood and we would like to visit it with all of our NTX softball family. Been living here in NTX two years now and I believe it's time to head west for some good old softball.

If we only play a few pool games in this tournament that's fine(we don't intend to), that's where all of you buddies of mine in SoCal come in to play. I would like, if possible, to set up a few friendlies the weekend after that or during the week. Is that possible? I know one of the coaches on the former Cerritos Franchise 10U team, which I believe is USA Athletics now. I also know the coach of the new Artesia Punishers 12U team that is just now forming. We can play them but really I would like to play the best SoCal can offer. I want my girls to learn from the best.

NTX ball players want to experience playing the best? Come join our team. Tryouts this coming Sunday!

We can travel to Corona, Irvine, Huntington Beach or any surrounding cities close to Lakewood but although San Diego is beautiful that would be too long a drive. If you guys invite me deep sea fishing I'm there. I am asking for some help SoCal friends let's set something up! NTX teams anybody want to join us?

We plan to be there at least one week, obviously take our softball family to Universal Studios, Knotts Berry, Disneyland and we definitely need to eat a Dodger dog! King Taco here we come! Definitely need to visit Balboa pier and Newport Beach!

Come on SoCal let's get it done!

Heartwell,

Don't worry about the background noise and the pesky gnats. As long as you're doing right by your players there's no need to answer to anyone around here.
