I am not afraid of Glenn

by larry111 » Tue Dec 08, 2009 8:50 am

people who make decisions are working on this right now. Glenn has showed his true colors once again. This info is getting out to everyone in softball right now. No matter how the defenders of Glenn try to portray this, all the people who are involved in Softball are only going to see that 7 teams are not going to play because of Glenn G. Lori it was you, your daughter is a pitcher and a pretty good one from what I remember. And if it was you I doubt you would admit it on here anyways.

Uno,

Preventing kids from playing would seem to be a legitimate concern for you as well as Larry and the rest of us.

And, yes...the Mangina is my fave

Hey Larry I looked up your tournament, who is OUT OF CONTROL SOFTBALL?
I had a little trouble following all of your rules you posted and I see all of the checks are made out to you?

"My rules are designed to make the games competitive and to make sure that a team does not win by stalling to run out the clock. Every team will have the chance they need to come back and get the 1 or 2 points they need to win and every team will have a chance to defend their 1 or 2 point lead.

Standard A.S.A. rules apply.
Exceptions:
1.Every game will be a coin toss at the plate for visitor team.
2.All games except championship game are 75 minute drop dead, finish the batter.
3.6 runs per half inning
4.No time outs last five minutes of game
5.No changing pitchers last 5 minutes of game
6.No changing catcher last 5 minutes of game
7.The only time out aloud in last 5 minutes is due to a player being injured. If this occurs the game clock will stop and resume once the injured player has been replaced or has stood up and is ready to play again
8. Last 5 minutes of the game each time a team takes the field the pitcher will be allowed to take 2 warm-up pitches only. The pitcher has exactly 1 minute to be out on the field and take her 2 warm-up pitches. As soon as the 3rd out is called both teams have 1 minute exactly to change field and be ready. Batter must be in Batters box ready to bat at exactly 1 minute. From the 1 minute mark rule 9 goes into effect. Team taking the Field has exactly 1 minute to be out on field and ready to play ball. If team taking field is not ready at 1 minute mark, Umpire will call a ball on batter in batters box every 10 seconds until first pitch is thrown.
9.Last 5 minutes of the game the team batting will have 30 seconds to have a batter in the batters box once the pitcher has finished her second warm-up pitch. A strike will be called every 10 seconds a batter is not in the box ready to bat.
10.Visitor team will provide a score keeper
11.Home team will run the score board
12.Umpires decisions may be contested to UIC and Tournament director for 50 dollars cash at the plate. If decided in your favor, money will be refunded. If decision is against you, the Umpire whose call was contested will receive the 50 dollars. No contested decision in the last 10 minutes of the games
Team sign in process:
1.TEAMS ARE APPROVED WHEN CHECKS ARE RECEIVED.
2.ALL TEAMS MUST HAVE A ROSTER
3.VTD PHOTO CARDS AND BIRTH CERTIFICATES UPON REQUEST. Please be sure to have this information with you when you come.
4.PLAYERS MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY 12U BALL. NO 96 OR BELOW. ALL PLAYERS MUST BE 97 OR ABOVE
Championship games:
1.The 2 teams with the most wins at the end of the day will play the Championship game. If a tie ball game issue arises, the team with the most points on the board for the entire day will advance to the Championship game.
2.GAME WILL BE 75 MINUTES LONG FINISH THE INNING
3.COIN FLIP AT HOMEPLATE FOR HOME TEAM
4.HOME TEAM WILL BE THE OFFICIAL SCOREKEEPER
5.VISTOR WILL RUN SCORE BOARD
6.6 RUNS PER HALF INNING UNTIL THE 5TH INNING. UNLIMITED FROM 5TH INNING ON.
7.ITB rules in effect
8.Umpires decision may be contested throughout entire game to UIC and Tournament director for 50 dollars at the plate. If decision is in your favor, money will be refunded. If decision is against you, the Umpire whose call was contested will receive the 50 dollars.
9.If an Umpires decision is contested in the championship game and 50 dollars is put up, the game clock will stop and resume once a decision has been made."

No, especially this weekend because we're being denied an opportunity to play.

This is a message board genius. That's what people do. They respond to posts. Why do you think it's cool that when you post someone responds? You're not "getting" anyone to do anything other than the purpose intended. Either that or when you respond to this, it makes you MY puppet. So go ahead-you know you can't resist. It's D3 offseason so I know you got nothin better to do.

They do things in NTX a little different apparently. Not sure why each tournament has be a sanctioned event, that makes no sense. Although I have seen a few posts that mention some teams like to get those little 1st place ribbons on VTD  Before each tournament parents come on here and talk all kinds of smack like they are about to play a National championship so maybe they just like the bragging rights? I'm not sure how y'all can let anyone up there have so much power that they can regulate who can play in what tournament at whatever fields. Here, it's all up to the TD's. While we play with ASA rules (some use USFA or Utrip), the only true "sanctioned" tournaments are qualifiers and state championships.
My daughter is perfect, she knows everything. Just ask her.
