I have been thinking of buying a large RV coach.I would like to hear from those that already own one.
Do you use it often for softball?Did you have buyers remorse on your purchase?Why?
What would you different on your purchase?

My mother has had several. Here is my advice.
- Do not buy new. You can get some good deals in places like Ft. Myers and Phoenix from oldsters that can't drive it, anymore.
- Make certain that you are aware of what they cost per mile to drive. (Some are over a dollar.)
- Riding anywhere in one, other than the driver's seat and bucket seat, is very uncomfortable.
- If you can't park it at your house, make sure that you check on storage costs.
- I don't know how many softball parks allow you to park there. Some, Walmarts used to be free, but they have stopped that in many towns.
- I would prefer a full shower. Not the one that you have to sit on the toilet.

We borrowed one (38 ft, full bathroom, 4 bed, tow the car type) for a little over a year from a friend begging us to get some use out of his huge payment.
We loved it for weekend use, even local. Great to have a place for the team to cool off, kick their cleats off, and relax between long breaks. Wonderful if you're playing in a rain delay. Nice to walk out the door and already be at the fields at 7am.
Long trips- hated it. The main reason I would never do it again is because your DD misses out on the team bonding time at the hotel and you desperately need access to laundry facilities. Some RV parks have them, but not the hours required by late games.
Then there's the story of the last RV trip in CO. The shorter version goes like this: because of laundry hours panties, bras and sliders frequently hanging in the kitchen, took out the water hookup and shutoff water to the entire park, ripped 2 outside panels, lost both wipers in a huge thunderstorm, with a total price tag of $2500. Without the damage, the cost of the hotel - cost of gas/parking rental was $200. Not worth it just for softball.
Would I buy one? No way. Give me fresh towels and a pool anyday.

Cleats,
We have a pusher and use it frequently. When we are not playing softball we use it 2-3 times a month. What they say above is true about mileage concerns. If you PM me with questions I will gladly answer them.

I sold my motor home once we started playing travel, we never had time for it anymore. It would be nice to take to tourneys and hang out in it between games but when the rest of the team is staying in a hotel and your dd is not you might get a stink eye.

The problem with the RV that we owned ...was the comode in the shower ... we decided that we would remove the comode and add on a room ...
