Who do you like for TOP 10 Houston area 14U teams in Spring?

by DR dunn » Thu Nov 12, 2009 3:05 pm

 You are correct all but 4 out of 16 were from houston but do not forget that some teams that went home on saturday had much harder brackets. I also notice at least 2 teams with new aces I don't thing you just find these aces 96 bombers and 96 Sudden inpack had two brand new aces never seen before. One more thing we did not have any of the top DFW teams here I am pretty sure that would have change the final standings, like the glory or texas elite

You are correct it would have changed the final standings.
I remember when i was a kid we used to play the WHAT IF game. We could sit here and say "WHAT IF" about anything and it would change the outcome of the tournament.
Point is the best teams finished on top this weekend. This can change on a weekly basis and usually does.

The other ace the the 96 Bombers played for another team called the Texas Tornadoes which split up. Both of their pitchers are now playing for the Bombers on a permanent basis so she is not a pick-up player. She has played with them for the last couple of months.

TPS95
Pearland Phantoms
Sudden Impact
Sting Blue
Houston Power

Kaos95 did not look that good at the RM.... Seemed like they were a 95 with a mix of his 96 team. Were they missing some people?

Teams that will bomb:
Storm Elite
Thunder
Houston Power
Aces
Crush
Kaos95

Houston Power needs to come down off of their high hurdle and so does onthewayout. I seen them play a round robin game as if it were the championship game at Nationals.

So does being #4 mean something on that team??? Wasn't she the one that closed out the game against Impact 95?

The Aces looked good this weekend and picked up a win in Sugar Land. They have the same strong pitching as always but seem to have improved their defense and hitting.
