I think that is the thoughts of a south texas person. I dont think anyone in north texas worries about any of the teams in south texas. that is why they dont play south there much.

This tourney will show a lot... where most of the BEST teams are early in the season.

Dont get me wrong, I think there could be some good competition from some south texas teams but they cant hold a candle to the likes of playing aainst flanningans Glory. You are better off seeing where you stand by playing in North Texas

Your right...I don't know what I was thinking the north is always better.
Thats why OK. and AR. keep winning in your own backyard.

HELLO? DUH? Thanks for making my point exactly. OK and AK and many other states best teams come to NORTH TEXAS to play. Where the best teams in Texas play. No one said every team from north texas was the best just that the competition there is great. Why go to off beat shabby parks that provide no water in 100 degree heat in south texas to play a bunch of local so so teams when all the good teams from many states go to North texas to play at the likes of Allen, Southlake, Craig Ranch and the such.

Get over yourself. Its about the tourney in Southlake and the great teams playing there. If you are too EgoCentric to accept that this group of teams are some of the best and that it is exciting to see that it is going to be a great competition then just go to the trophy shop and buy you the biggest trophy you can find and then you can feel good about yourself instead of knocking great teams that are heading for a great weekend of competition.

I don't see many north teams traveling south to play and not many south teams traveling north to play. Maybe, just maybe, a team doesn't have it in their budget. Maybe, just maybe, you can find the right kind of competition without haviing to travel 4-6 hours on the road.

North Teams vs. South Teams
Starting to sound like the East Coast rappers vs. the West Coast rappers

Get over it!!!

I look forward to the opportunity to play any good team at any time. It's not about the winning, but what your players gain in experience with the competition.

We all represent Texas, and with the postings I have read recently, we're not a very good job of it.

I wish all the Texas teams the best of luck in the journey to qualify for ASA Nationals. But if you don't, it's just part of life. Sometimes we fall short of our goals. Doesn't make you a bad team. Just move on and re-dedicate yourselves to next season.

Are you ok there? There is no north v. south. You must have some weird mental condition or something. Just because the level of competition stays high in north texas with out having to travel. I dont think it matters where you are from its about the competition and south texas just doesnt have it. A lot of teams travel to North texas and there is no need to go south when the competition is better in the north. Your the one that thinks you need to throw some sort of gang signs to make a point. No one said anything about bad teams, wishing only the teams from texas good luck or anything like that... It was just about the quality of teams playing. Your are just off your rocker a little and maybe, JUST MAYBE, it seems a little sensitive about the level of competition in South texas being below what is available in other areas.

I think for the rest of the WORLD its about the team not where they are from and with that goes along with the places they play to get good competition. Its too bad you say the south texas teams cant afford to travel to compete against the better teams but that too says why North texas teams wont waste their money traveling to south texas to play so so teams when the better teams are coming to play in North texas anyway.

You say "GET OVER IT" I think you seem to be the one with an issue. And you need to take your own advice. Look at the teams playing.. ENOUGH SAID. Some of the BEST teams in texas are going to put on a great tourney and it will give everyone a little look into what is going to happen for Nationals

Hey daddyball,

What dominating North Texas team are you and your DD with?

Your the one that said the "best teams" not me! Also, I never said the tournaments are better in one place or the other, just simply said there are good teams from other places other than North Texas. If you don't agree thats your opinion. :|

My daughter plays college ball on scholarship. My nieces play in 14u ball in Bailey. They come to north texas to play all the time. So your idea that I am more for one team than another is just you looking for a way to justify YOU only wanting YOUR dds team to be called out as being the best. I have seen the parks all over texas, CA, MO and everything in between. California has the most beautiful parks and best teams in the nation. North Texas is catching up fast. South texas is no comparison. Sorry if my opinion and experience hurts your little feelings but its just that, my unbiased un affilliated opion.

So again, Sorry, I could not help you there. I am unbiased and not affliated with any of the teams here, unlike you.

My dd is a Ft Worth 14 u and we see a lot of the 12 u teams playing up. Some deserve to play there and are placing against some good teams. Some dont. I watched a little 12u team this weekend playing 14u that had a girl that hit a Grand Slam to tie the game up and then the same girl went on at her next at bat to hit a double and bring in the winning run. This team could really hang with the other teams.

Well, If you want to get personal. Their father has been in afganistan for the past 14 months and I stepped in for my sister and do everything I can to be there for them and their dad. I claim them as my DDs and tell anyone that wants to know that I am their "fill in father" for a little while. And I look forward to seeing their dad come home and taking over.

I guess you are now looking for something you can attack me for personally. I am a little balding and could use some time in the gym too. So if you want to call me fat and bald I guess it will take the focus off the real subject and I guess make you feel a little better?

To each his own...

1) Never said anything about who my dds played for or if they were or were not the best. but just so you know I think they do play for the best team.
2)Good parks bring good teams. just a fact.
3) I could care less if you believe me or not. It does not change the fact that the Southlake tourney, the real comments that youseem to want to avoid, is going to show great competition for some of the BEST, YES BEST, teams in texas. No matter what names you call or what you believe it will not change that fact.
