Well "Daniel Son" just to shed a little light on TxSting98's true age.... In between the RedHots getting in a picture perfect run down and Faux Hawk Boy getting tossed I asked just how old all the girls were because they came in all shapes and sizes. The response that was given was 4-12's, 6-11's and 2-10's.

So what does that make them now besides competitive ?

The 90 Something Sting LOL No I was just joking because everyone early on in this post was so concerned about teams being a True 98 or true 97 team.

Hotbox, I don't believe the 97 teams want to admit that sting98 can play with them and beat then. They are trying to look for excuses to have ready incase they do lose to sting98. Some of the 98's are going to surprize people in the fall and also in the spring.

I will say the 98 Texas Sting have made the radar of allot of teams now. We will be a competitive program with the coaches and girls that are on this roster. They are taught to play at a high level of play and to win or lose with dignity with the goal of playing at the next level. No matter what age of the girls on this roster, they are competitive and want to play the best competition that is out there. They will win some and lose some but they will compete every time they lace up the cleats to the best of there ability. They try to give every team they play there best and grow from every win or loss. That is all you ask for from your girls or coaches. They are a good team and will be better in the spring and summer. ;)

As far as the “98” teams go. I have only seen the Texas Sting playing and competing with the Big Dogs, everyone else is either ducking the competition or not up to the challenge. :o

Didn't the 98 peppers finish top 5 in the Fury Tournament. They were on of the last 4 teams in the winners bracket and I believe they are in RM also. Just like the 98 Sting they didn't go running down to Deer Park where all the other 98's were playing when all the big bad 97 teams came to Tomball.

My predictions for the RM

SK IMPACT 98
TX THREAT 98
TX TERROR 12 (Top 10)
SPRING STING 12
97 CF BATTZ
97 TX BOMBERS
97 TX HEAT
PEPPERS 98
TX RED HOTS 12
TX STARS 12
TX GEMS
TX STING 97
TX HAWKS 12
97 TX ICE
AUSTIN STARS 12
TX STING 98
IMPACT 97
TX BLAZE 12
AUS STORM 12
HIT AWAY 12
HOU POWER 12
KATY CRUISERS 12
STORM ELITE 97
STROS 98
BALLISTIX 12
SUD IMPACT 12
TX ACES 12
RATTLERS 12
SL SMASH 12

Top 5 (No particular order)
Texas Red Hots
Sudden Impact
Austin (One of the two...can't remember which one was the stronger one)
Texas Ice
Bombers

Ones to watch that could break into top 5:
Rattlers
Sting 98
Storm Elite
Austin (One of the two...can't remember which one was the stronger one)

If I were forced to choose a favorite, and depending on the draw, my pick to win it all would be the Red Hots.

Well you all know TPS 98 is not ducking or running from any competition. They were the best in 10-U and they will still be the best 1st year all 1998 players once again this year. Hell they won a 12-U tournament when they were 10-U. Same group of girls with two additions that took the place of the 2 that left. they were hosting the tourney in Deer Park the weekend of Burroughs, that why they weren't there. Already this fall their record against some of the better 97 12-u's is all wins and no losses, the only 97 team they played and lost to was the TX Rattlers. And I have to say I am not a TPS parent just a follower...................

Not that it really matters because it is fall but that is incorrect. They have lost to more than just one 97 team.

Have to agree with Fig. that TPS will probably roll into the spring the favorite true 98 team. They were hosting and did a fine job so they didn't dodge the Burroughs tourney. But were are they this weekend? RM is a must in the fall for any Houston area team. Just Like the KAty X-mas Classic is a must in Dec.

I think a few posts back there was a list of those MIA but where are these teams?

High Voltage
TPS 98
TPS 97

Peppers 98 beat Texas Sting 12/11/10 and the 97 Hawks they are on the right track.

Sting 12/11/10, Peppers 98 and Spring Sting 98 all played Burroughs, scheduled in RM and my understanding is they will all be in the Katy Christmas Classic... ;)
