rare footage of the coaches and bearded lady in question:

if you watch closely at 1:05, you can see the coach stall out the last minute of the game...
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

I was at the game, as you can see from my screen you know what side of the stands I was on. There was 1 minute left when the batter in question came up. Showtime was up 5-0 and was the home team. There is not one coach out there who would not make sure that the minute was not used up before the batter finished her at bat! I have seen coaches milk 5 or more minutes off the clock. We are talking about 1 minute! You are not doing your job as a coach if you don't. Eliminate the clock if you don't want it to be part of the game! I wish they would. We have been on the other side of it in a lot of situations, and we have never done anything but shook their hands when the game was over and told them job well done! To actually tell your player to take out the opposing player is totally classless! He was pissed off because his team had been outplayed in every facet of the game! I think its funny that the girl he told his pitcher to take out had just hit a ball off the fence her prior at bat. Its not like our coach was the only one that heard this. The TD was there and so was the head Umpire, because he came and told us after the game that if the girl had hit her in that game of if we faced them again and one of our girls got hit he would eject the coach, the player and their parents!
What is this guy teaching his girls? To leave our girls standing on 3rd base waiting the shake there hand and just leave the field.? H acted like a 5 year old that had just got beat with his marbles and was mad and going to take them home! This guy should not be coaching softball! If this is what Dbat is all about I would not let my DD even sniff playing with that organization! and I certainly will try to inform anyone else who is entertaining the thought of going there!
The sad thing is my DD goes to school with one of their players and she was really embarrassed, and so was her mother becaused she apologized to me! I watch their next game and he did not have a problem shaking hands when he won! Great represintitive you got for yourself DBAT!!

Mark i am interested in your opinion on this issue and what is your stance on this? I mean you have a solid team but what bothers me is if my dd was on the team i would make her handshake after that

If the story being told is in fact true, I'll focus on the "stalling" tactic. The score was 5-0. The visiting team had multiple opportunities to score runs. They did not do so. It is not your right to say, "if we had 1 more inning"...

Game over, you lose. The final minute does not outweigh the other 74 you had to hit the ball.
