Mrs. Buster,
I believe the two men you are referring to both left Glory after Nationals to join D-Bat, but I must question exactly what you heard that was so offensive. I saw both men stop and speak to parents on the Glory team, I even spoke to them both, one for an inning or more. I never heard a harsh word, or saw actions from either one of them that would dictate starting a thread. Did I hear every conversation they had, no. But were they causing a scene like you describe? Hardly. Is it possible they have ill feelings toward the Glory coaches? More than likely. But from what I saw, they were just there to watch the game, and see how the old team did. They weren't out campaigning against Glory, or the Poole's. I have been around the ballfields a long time, and I have witnessed parents making complete jackasses out of themselves more times than I can remember. But to throw D-Bat and these two guys totally under the bus is uncalled for in my opinion. I did not get the impression in any way that they were there to cause trouble as you say. If you heard comments that were so harmful, you must have been WAY too close. One of the men you are referring to even helped the Poole's get their Suburban started later that day at the Southlake ball fields. Can I start a thread about that??
