TPS 99 was hosting a tournament in Deer Park this weekend that's why they weren't in Beaumont. Crossfire was in the tourney in Deer Park, along with TPS 98 and TPS 97 in the 12-U division. TPS is a large organization, and the teams try to support one another in the various tourney's that are hosted at the Deer Park Complex- that is why none of the three above mentioned TPS teams were not in Beaumont.

We left before the championship, but was told Crossfire won the 10U division. I watched them play one game against Smash earlier in the day. Bats were okay, but their pitching & defense were very impressive.

Is this a true vote or a collection of parents/fans voting for their team like the DFW poll??

Any of these teams coming to DFW this fall? Where is the tournament to find out who the best '99 team in Texas going to be before nationals? Bomber Shootout in the Spring?

Same TPS99 that plays some in Waco?

Just curious as a DFW fan/parent how we measure up against each other... any good teams from the south you guys see in Houston some?

How fast does this girl throw that pitches for Phantomz? We're from Louisiana and we're curious about who the fastest pitcher is.

From what I've seen:
She throws around 50mph, wild with the fastball and walks a lot of batters. Nice changeup! When she's on! she's on! and when not! she's not. She is going to be a good one!

I don't think anyone said she was the fastest pitcher in Houston for a 99. They asked how fast
the pitcher from the Phantomz throws and who is the fastest. You seem to know who the fastest 99 pitcher in Houston, who is it? Just curious!
