Heh... I'm the exclusive north american distrubutor so...

No buy in's. These are sold one at a time. $599 will get your 8u hitting in the creek over CF fence.

Also, I still have a limited number of 2007 Barbie Phenix bats. Make offer..

A local sporting goods store here lets you take the bats from the rack and go into a back 'room' with a batting cage/net setup and take 3 or 4 hits (soft-toss). We just tried this yesterday (the girls need a new bat and it is their birthday) and they both liked the 'feel', 'response' and the way the ball came off this bat. They both hate the earlier ComBat (the Virus?) and disagreed on all the other bats except this one.

BTW, my girls are 15 yo, swinging a 32/22 bat.

DD will use the CF4 for the first time this weekend. 'let you know after that!

Crusher how did the CF4 work out for your DD? I heard it may be even better than the CF3.

Softballdadcoach,
How has the performance of the bat been since your DD has been using the Combat Lisa Fernandez bat?

I am leaning toward CF4 and the Combat LF for the spring season.

DD really likes the CF4, she says the balance is better than her CF3.

Part of it is mental  but she couldn't seem to get one out of the infield during the first 2 games on Saturday with the CF3 so she switched to the CF4 for the 3rd game and drove a standing double to right center on her first at bat.

She tells me that the CF3 has been banished to her bag for BP.

She plays again this weekend, we'll see how it goes!

What my girls really wanted was the 2009 DeMarini Voodoo Black (they have borrowed one a few times this season), but I was having a time finding one. BUT, just got one from eBay, and will surprise the girls with it tomorrow before their game.

The Combat LF will lose out now that they have the bat they really wanted, so sorry I cannot give you any 'real' feedback on that LF Combat...

I had been looking at some bats and on a whim picked up the Voodoo on ebay. Do you mind telling me what you paid for it? Mine was $109 + 13.00 shipping. I really didn't expect to get it - - hope i didn't overpay.

Thanks.

MoeFoes -- My DD loves here 32/22 Phenix. Picked it up used three months ago. She swang it against the 32/22 Purple Stealth and it was not contest to her for FEEL. I imagine they have about the same pop.

The Purple Stealth will go back on ebay soon. I paid $299 + shipping, and I think I can get that same amount back when I list it. I paid $210 + shipping for the Phenix.

I had read that the CF3 was about the same as the Phenix, just different paint job, but some other posts saying the CF4 is less end loaded makes me think the Phenix is more like the CF4 than the CF3.
