I see enough open tourneys in the next two months to have to use two hands. If your are looking for good solid teams to play then you shouldnt be dissappointed.

i agree....there were only 3 "A" tournaments from now to January..and no teams signed up for the local two...and only 7 teams in the one in Temple.....maybe they classify as "B" so you can play anywhere...including open.....and if you check closer...there arent very many "A" teams listed.....so is there really an "A" classification if everyone is listed as "B"? As an example...all four teams in the "A" division of the DFW Championship were "B" teams. You dont have to be classified as an "A" team to be competitive and just because you are classified as a "B" team doesnt mean you are "sandbagging"....

That is exactly the problem though. N.Texas is the only area in the entire state if not the country that takes that approach. All of the select teams (especially 2nd year) need to be "A" period. It is going to take a real commissioner to make it happen because coaches are to scared to. That is why they call us sandbaggers everywhere you go and play "B"! That's the word like it or not.

Easy fellas....Keep one thing in mind, tournament directors have now gotten caught up in everything the coaches have generated in N.Texas. Can you really blame them since all they want is a big pay day.

The Southlake tourney has a bunch of really good teams in the field, just unfortunate that they are all still listed as "B" teams. I hope in the real near future that this will change. No wonder the "A" tourneys don't make, the commissioner is doing a poor job of making sure there is an abundent amount of "A" teams.

I agree if you are a 2nd year team playing in that division you should automatically be classified as an "A" team. This would definately make things better for everyone. You'd have the "A" teams playing the A tournaments and the B teams playing there tournaments and you'd have those few B teams that are wooping up on everyone...then they could move up to A classification.

What do you think it would need to make this happen?
