What is this a 97 thread ? There might be to many 98 teams in the championship games for your liking as well ! Before it is all said and done ! :o

I am sure it will happen on occasion...that is, that a true 98 team will be in championship play but I would not get your hopes up too high... :o

It sounds as if its gonna happen to you a lot.....

I think it does mater 98 vs. 97 teams the 97's are more mature and if you are playing with 97's and 98's you better beat all the 98's u play. It is about winning but you are forgetting that the 97's should be more mature and win. So I would not laugh about whether it is a true 98 team or not. I would not call myself a 98 unless I am all 98. The reason some call their self a 98 is so the expectations are not as high. This is because the players are not as mature so do not try to convince everyone it does not matter. You must agree if you added 97's to the team it made your team better than if you would have selected the 98's and planed to develop them this year and compete along the way.

It is ok to play with any player of the correct age in the division.; I must agree.

Ha Ha Ha now it has to be a true 98 team now. Some of these 12u bucket head's are as funny as the 10u bucket head's. Always leaving the door open for an excuse why they may get beat. If anyone has noticed it is 12u division. Who cares what the ages are. If your team has 97's on it great, if it has 98's on it great, if it has 96's on it great. If they are playing 12u and they are with in the birth date required to play 12u, play ball ! If the talent condenses to make teams stronger who cares what the ages are on the team. I think it is great if teams have older girls mixed with younger girls on a team. It helps the younger girls learn while they are getting seasoned without having to get beat up there first year moving up to a older division. I wonder what these same people will complain about when in high school or 18u the teams really have a broad range of different age girls on the team. We don't go to a tournament without our hopes high ! When we enter a tournament we come to try and win it !

LMAO... It's the same concept just different ages. If your DD is a TRUE Athlete she will adapt and overcome very quickly. A stud is a stud no matter how you slice it. I can tell you this after making several 97's and 3- 96's try-outs ourselves I wasn't the least bit concern about other 97 12u teams this includes the RH and HV.

Very hard to predict, muchless in finishing order but in NO particular order a guess would be HV, Storm Elite, and Panthers
