Cerritos Franchise 98 and Firecracker 98 merging ???

by ATD » Sat Aug 29, 2009 12:45 pm

I heard that Franchise 98 is merging with Firecracker's 98 and the resulting team will be Cerritos Firecrackers. J/k on that one. But I did hear they were merging and there will only be a Firecrackers 98. True ?

I don't know about the 98 Franchise and 98 Firecrackers (formerly Crunch) teams merging, but I did notice this morning that it looks like the 97 12u Franchise team may have moved from Franchise to Firecrackers. It also looks like Firecrackers 98 already has a full roster of 14 girls.

This is what I thought was the 97 Franchise team and all of a sudden, this morning there is a new 97 Firecrackers team. I could be wrong, but ....

Those are Franchise girls (were). They moved alright (97's). I like the Photoshop work on that one helmet that erases the "CF" sticker altogether. Haha.

I heard this was going to happen to the 98 team, but perhaps I heard wrong and it was the 97's, or like someone else mentioned they changed their minds.

I know there were some good players on the Franchise '98 team but from what I heard all the top players are going to play for TBaller :D . Thus, I don't know what's left that would be a good fit for the 'ol Crunch/New Firecracker team.

The 97 and 99 teams from Cerritos Franchise have moved to the Firecrackers organization. There are no plans for a 98 team to make the move. Since the agreement was made, info has been leaked early, but a formal announcement is going to be made on Wednesday as originally planned.

Good look to the '99 team! I think they will be the top 10U team next year.

What about the 95 14U team? Aren't the coaches on the 98 team and 97 teams brothers and were heading up CF :?: ?
