Also Hammer, that's definitely the way to go, we did the same all last year and it helped us improve alot from fall to Nationals. Hopefully this year, we will really see the benefits of playing all the big dogs.

No, but I bet they are not going to only 14u tournaments. We wont be one of the teams that will be dodging either pal. :o We want to play in the best tournaments there are, against the best competition. Looks like we will see them at the McDonald we are in there. 8-)

My daughter already has faced you in the fall. I have always liked your team. I'm really found of one of your catchers, she played with my daughter in 10u. Great kid and great family. Cant wait to play y'all. It will be a big challenge for our girls in the fall but I hope we can give you some problems in the summer. 8-)

yeah, both of our catchers are great athletes as well as kids. we are a lucky group of coaches, we really have a bunch of talented young ladies, who are also awesome and funny kids, and the parents are just unbelievably supportive. hope to see you on the field soon, I am having serious withdrawals.

Never even HINTED that Hammer's team would be dodging the big teams. Sorry if I gave that impression Hammer. I was just saying that I am sure the Red Hots will do as they did last year and that is to play against the 96 teams as much as possible to keep them on their toes. I figure they will be playing 14U Friendlies and tournaments as often as they can to prepare them for next summer.

Damn you know your shizel. I had no idea there were this many teams. please keep on with your insight in this division. We are a first year team in this division and are used to there being 20-30 teams in the age group. I only know about the first year teams and a few of the big girls in the 97 group. I bet the few I know about are the real deal in the 2nd year group. in the past it has been 4-5 2nd year team's that toe the line and dominate then the second year teams that are good step up and pass up the other 2nd year mediocre teams, will this be the case in the 12u division this year. There will be a few tough 1st year teams. Will this be the pattern for this year????????????????

Damn you and Marti are good. USA Today, SI and ESPN may be looking for you. I am impresed and appreciate your insight. I am not trying to poke fun at you. This is good information and please keep it up. I am not much on the BS that goes on her but I truly love softball and the competition that is out there in the division. Geen Miller you are an asset to this sight as well, Just like Marti, Realy and the other 's.

Why try and build a team if you can not compete? I understand the development part but there are not this many A ball player's out there. some parents just want to say they are playing A ball I think. The established teams will continue to excel and the local All Star teams wanting to broaden thier horizons and test the A ball waters will soon figure it out when they play the established teams. hey i am all for devoleping players and it would suck with 8-10 teams so let's just take the good with the bad and play ball it will all work out.

As mentioned earlier a lot of those teams will be extinct by the end of fall. Some will not even end up making.

I’m w/22’s dad it will be fair game after the first tourney to start bashing everyone. Oh and whoever ordered those fries for me could have at least paid for them lol. See ya Ladies on the Diamond…..

I've seen one family play for 5 teams in one season! Can you beat that?
