You'd have to play 14u to have a shot at them. I can't see that team playing in straight non title 12U tournaments there'd be little to gain. They've shown they can compete and beat the 96 teams so no reason not to move up and keep the pressure on.

Does that mean they are coming off the poll at the top :?: Look out High Voltage :o

You need to add:
TX Glory (DFW)
Austin's Finest (AUSTIN)
TX Bombers (SAN MARCOS)
Lady Longhorns (Which one DFW or Houston)
TX Ice (Agreed)
Liberty Kruzers (DFW)

Note the word Houston in the above title ;)

How much better are the Red Hots than the teams listed here, from other regions of Texas. Did The Red Hots Play them last season? How did they do. Just looking for something to use as a reference.

I am impresed with them, just reading what you all have to say about them. We may need to move them up to the 14 u poll!!!!!!!!

Thanks,Txfastpitchcoach. There is only room for 10 teams in the poll. I wish it would let you add more but it is what it is.

My daughter pitched against them (RED HOTS) several times last fall, and I will tell you, you better have your cleats tight and your defense on there toes. They will hit the ball, and they want to beat the h&^$%^ll out of you every time they get on the field. Don't be fooled by there size... very athletic and good ball players. One of the catchers played with my daughter in 10u in PCB she stroked one out of the park last year at 10u. VERY STRONG GROUP OF GIRLS. They have earned my respect. 8-)

Really's post is a prime example of why the talent is so watered down in the 12s age group. Every pissed off dad thinks Susie should be pitching more or doesn't get to play a position she didn't earn and goes and starts a team or team hops to a no named team to keep them afloat.

Teams from other states carrying 13 -15 kids on a team and Texas teams have trouble keeping 10-11 happy.

I can tell someone with limited knowledge about 12U posted the teams for the poll...most likely someone from a 10U moving up to 12's. Outside of the Red Hots it is questionable .]

Have to agree with five 98 teams being in the top ten.

That is probably b/c you are with one of them and again are not very knowledgeable about 12U. That is ok though you will see. Hammer is right on.

You misunderstood. I agree that whoever posted the original poll was from a 98 team who knows little about 12U. The original poll had five 98 teams on there which indicates they did not have a strong knowledge of the 2nd year 12's.
