I don't know the Travelers from shinola, but a "rumor" of player movement is hardly big news considering this is the time of year players move.

Jus' sayin' :)
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

For this team, it is newsworthy. Played well for years and of Texas teams in Georgia last week...they played very well.

Haven't seen this team play much this year, they are pretty young. Travelers aren't typically one of the teams that showcases players. History shows that most of the players go D2 or D3. With the success this team has had there may be some of them destined to play D1 and need a change in zip code.

They are one of the best 95's Texas has to offer....if not the best.

I would agree they have worked hard over the past couple of years, and I believe they have even proved to be more consistent than the other local high profile 95 Kruzer team.

If the rumors are true it will be interesting to see which teams certian player will end up on. I have also heard that the 95 Kruzers and 94 Batbuster (Montoya) teams are all going their own ways also after rough outing at Nationals.

Only time will tell.

Dang you could take the right ones from Travelers, Kruzers and Batbusters and make one heck of a team that could compete with anybody if the rumors are true for these teams. :(

In California, it is normal for the best 1st year 14s to make the move to Gold after Nationals. Even more common for the next tier (below the top 1-3 players who go up after one year in 14s) to skip 16s and 18Us and go to Gold. We must have over 75 Gold teams in Socal, and they're populated by 14-18 year olds. Sort of a "if you think you're DI top 50 program material, you better skip 16s and don't even THINK about 18U."
