Does this kid stand a chance in 2 or 3 years with this guy?

Feb '99er available as a pick-up player for continuing Championship play or new '99 team forming this summer/fall.

Former travel-ball player for 7+ months, went back to rec to get more pitching time March - July of this year.

Starting player of SoCal ASA State "C" Championship team and went to San Diego and season ended 7/19/2009 with a 5th place finish.

Primary positions are Firstbase and CF and an "ok"/pool play/#3+ pitcher. She has good control on her pitches, her best fastball is around 41mph and average pitch is 38/39. Just keeping it real, but she does have good control and can generally hit her spots and loves the inside pitch but would look better against other '99 pitchers vs. '98 pitchers.

Girl can hit, has own 23 foot batting cage in backyard and CF3. Batted 1st, 4th, 5th on State Championship All-Star team. She can beautifully slap/drag bunt leftie and is a right handed hitter.

She is a '99 but tall for her age so is the size of the average '98.

Very fast, generally fastest girl on team which is why she played CF quite a bit on her travel teams and always played up with '97's/'98s and will have no issues with that. On her travel teams she played and hit against Crunch, Athletics, Franchise, Minor's Gold, Dynasty, Victory, Desperados and all other major Socal 10U teams.

Haha. I know them !!! (my daughter plays(ed) with her)

Their older daughter played through 14's and they are actually a great family and very sweet, husband and wife coaching team. Spent many years volunteering/coaching young girls in a couple of local leagues, my daughter even played T-Ball with them and they used to make DVDs of the season and give to all of the girls. I think they just want to continue her playing and not go to winterball but I don't know.

There has got to be something wrong with her don't most kids throw high 50'S on average by this age.

I ran into a guy that we used to play against in Rec Ball about 4 years ago and he said his daughter throws 11 different pitches.......I watched her pitch this weekend......Most of those 11 pitches were about 50 mph in 16U so needless to say.......OUCH!.....11 pitches....WTF

What type of glove and batting helmet does she use? I like the fact that she loves to throw inside. I could use her for one pitch every now and then(just kidding). But at 38-39 the batter will probably just barehand it and throw it back to her.
