What are they saying now?

TEXAS FUSION They have to be consider the top organization that has the most talent from 12 through Gold go look at their rosters its Awsome. (Not affilated)

Krusiers If they keep it small they have a good chance of being a nice organization with lots of the areas top teams now playin under their name. (affiliated)

TEXAS ELITE Will what can you say..Basically the most over hyped organizations out there. They talk a good game but they consider the USSSA Nationals a big thing. They need to concentrate more on ASA Nationals and less on the USSSA, College Looks and so on. Well the bright side they brought in that power house (Bell's) team to make their final run. Oh I forot the 92 Threat Elite..OH BOY

Fort Worth Bat Busters Will if you don't like one team there are 22 others to chose from. Montoya and McClasky are avg teams in the area but very beatable, Montoya had a bad bad Meto tournament last year but in the Fall and early Spring watch out. Have a Dad you qualify for a Batbusters Team.

TravelersBesides the 95's not too much to talk about here their best talent left for College

Texas Glory Will they are shaping up like a another Batbusters (Waterdown). I guess if Adkins wants to be still involved its his baby. My prediction no Glory teams make it to the Gold Nationals this year, Most all the good ones are in College and done. Naudins team is a wait and see but looking at the Roster pitching seems to be weaker.

I think Texas Fusion and the American Liberty Kruizers will have the top teams this year. There is always going to be the Elites Batbusters and Glory in North Texas but they will have seen better days in their past.

Fastpitch360, you make some good points in your observations. Sounds as though you have been to the ball park a fair amount. I wont come on here and speculate as to who will and wont qualify for gold nationals other than one team. Texas Glory Gold (Adkins) will be there. I can assure you that Kyle strickland and our coaching staff are working this team harder than we have ever worked a gold squad to insure that we are ready to qualify. We have yet to play a real game together but I know what we have and am confident that we will get it done. Now, I am done with predictions! Let's all hope the weather is good for the next 6 weeks so that we can all showcase our teams and help these young ladies secure the scholarship offers that they have all been working hard to get. We will play NRH next weekend for our first tourney, the journey begins!

North Texas Softball for the next two years is going to be in some lean years, but I think after that the 93 and younger age groups will represent North Texas well. But, I don't look for the so-called big organizations to have the top talent. JMO

Well then who do you project will have all the talent?

It seems to me that at the older levels Gold and 16U that Glory Shelton is dominate and should continue to be. All 4 teams qualified, and Naudins team is young. I am sure Glory Shelton will add quality players after Nationals they always do. Glory Adkins has the 16U (another young team) and 14U team qualified, and possibly could get the Gold team done this weekend. Texas Travelers 16U is a solid team that just gets it done year after year. Fusion 16U qualified but this team lacks the talent level of the teams mentioned before them or even the Top 14U teams. This team probably won't exsist after Nationals. They'll be forced to move their Top two players the LHP and CF to Gold or risk losing them to another team.

Top 14U teams who are qualified and will continue to be strong are the Batbuster (Montoya), 95 Travelers and 95 Kruzers. These teams are the best in the division in N Texas 14U and I really don't see it changing.

There are many teams from Gold to 14U that have some talented players on them, but as I see it these team listed above are the best of the best from N Texas, that means nothing on the National stage as only some of them have accomplished much at that level.

Not to sure about all the younger groups, and as we all know that at the younger ages teams change from day to day.

Good luck to all the teams from Texas that qualified, I hope one of them can bring home the title of National Champions.

I just think that alot of the talent will be spread around in N. Texas. Was not saying that the big organizations won't have good teams, just not very many that can compete at a national level... Take the 18 Gold division after all the quailifiers only one N. Texas team quailified, not very good... 18 Gold N. Texas teams better be glad they have this weekend in San Antonio to try and save face... 16U alot of the teams backed into their berths, so it looks better than it really is... 14U I'll give you has some very talented teams, but that was kinda what I was saying in my original post, better talent coming up...

My daughter plays for the 16 under Fusion and she is proud of that fact. Every organization wants to believe that they are the big dog, but it really is all about where your daughter is the happiest. On paper last year we were a very talented team, but this team underachieved. This year we don't have near the talent, but I can see this team getting better each week. The coaching staff on this team is awesome and I want to thank Jason, Christina and Alex for doing a great job. Slade and Stefanie have done a great job with building this organization and should be very proud of how it has turned out. My point is you shouldn't worry about other organizations if your daughter is happy with the organization she plays with. There are alot of teams and organizations that can boast the same thing that I talked about and I wished they would.

Couldn't have said it better myself! I hope that the prevailing feeling from other places is that we are "finished" or not as talented, or not mentally tough....all I know is this team has competed well with the Glory-Naudin, Glory-Adkins, Texas Storm-Elite, etc. And I sincerely think that we are coming together very nicely as a "TEAM", and as in any year, if there are holes to fill due to promotions to the "gold" whether it's 2 going or 5 players going, I trust we'll reload as we have every other year since inception and continue to compete! As I trust all of the other teams in Texas feel the same way. Good Luck in Nationals to all Texas teams!!!!! Lost, see ya soon! Honcho out! :ugeek:

Glory-Beard is a solid team and young. They will make some waves at Nationals.

Glory - Shelton struggled in Marietta and Tulsa. they got it together in OKC, but they are not a favorite. Although they will be a the dance so you have to give them credit.
