Texas Teams in Colorado--How are they competing?

by Texas19 » Wed Jul 08, 2009 7:26 pm

Like I said they have alot of talent they were struggling in San Antonio if I can remember that far back and did not have a good showing in Humble last month. Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers (hawks) glad to see you got it together. I hope all Texas teams have a good showing at Nationals.

Texas19 - you most certianly didn't ruffle any feathers....

My DD has has never played for the Hawks - but we are friends with many on their team. There are plenty of people here on HB who know who Brooke and I are....

I was just passing on an opinion that wasnt attached to having a 'dog in the hunt'... guess not agreeing w/ you guys is a No-No.
When asked how many times she hit Tiger with the golf club, she responded, "I'm not sure...put me down for an 8!

No disrespect was meant to the hawks or any other Houston team yall have alot of talent down south and you are more than entitled to your opinion. Good luck to all Texas teams.

Team Arkansas 95 and Texas Blaze Davidson were in top 7? Must have been some crappy teams in Colorado.

There were 2 tournaments in Colorado. Sparkler and Fireworks. The Sparkler (Triple Crown) anyone can sign up for ,but the Fireworks you have to be invited/selected to play in. You make the judgement on which you think had better competition at it.

The sparkler is a "B" tournament. The olathe rockets took 4th lol, they cannot place 4th in a local tournament in the kc Kansas metro area.Pathetic coaching, this coach had a good team at 10u,however he has pissed off the entire softball community with his antics and no 'A' talent will play for this rockets coach again.

Wow! Why not be happy for the teams that placed good in Colorado despite what tournament it was. The Sparkler had some very decent teams and the Fireworks had thier share of "crappy" teams. Just because it is "invitational" doesn't mean those teams are the best of the best. Grow up and show some class.....be supportive of the sport and the players.

Wow hit a nerve pal, the truth hurts. Just stating the facts if this team placed 4th it was a b or c tournament. Which is fine that is where this team can compete. This coach has a hard time filling a team every year, you are welcome to put your daughter on this team. I will check back with you and you will be singing a different tune.
