12A Houston Area teams VS the rest of Texas

Interesting Bandits 24, the same could be said for the Bandits. One big hit in the first inning at that was all they had. Final score....Fusion 5, Bandits 3. Somehow, that no hitting team managed to score more runs.

I never said no hitting did I?? I just went back and read my post and no where in there did ZI say no hitting. In fact, they hit rather well. If ya'll hadn't had that one big hit with the bases loaded, it would have been different too. Wasn't because the picther was striking everybody out. We hit some good shots but as good teams go, defense wins games and ya'lls defense was better than our on that day. If our FB makes a couple of plays ya'll don;t score 5 runs so it can go either way. You seem a bit jumpy as I did not say anything negative about The Fusion, did I??

My humble apologies. I guess I let that comment about "wasn't impressed at all" get to me. Bandits are clearly a very good team. However, Fusion is also a very good team.

I think the Bandits / Glory was a close one too no? So which one is the big dog anyway?

No doubt and they have a very good coach too. I liked the way he called timeout to cool everybody off, not to mention maybe throw the pitcher off a little too. The long ball hit over our leftfielder's head was right after a very timely timeout called. My daughter laid one there and the girl yanked it deep. I was just glad we got the one girl out at the plate on that play. As long as it is done by the book, there can be no arguing and I do not dissagree with anything he did except for throwing his hat in disgust after that close play at third base. I am sure we will see ya'll in Illinois and good luck!! The comment about not very impressed was about a couple of other games ya'll played and got beat pretty bad. Not trying to get anybody upset, that's for sure. I do that without even trying.. :)

Correct, Fusion did have one bad game against the Fury, whose pitcher is very crafty. All and all, very good wins over the Thunder, Peppers, AF, Red Hots and Bandits.

Now your bashing your own team?

Are you saying you run ruled everybody and did not have any competition? I don't think the Houston teams exactly came to win. I saw the Houston area teams working on things and throwing number 2 and number 3 pitchers throughout the weekend. I would not strut your stuff to much if I were you.

Absolutely not saying that. These are all very quality teams. It is just good to see the kids competing well over the weekend.

What were the scores in the rest of your games?
Who beat you and what were the scores in those games?
