You've got to be kidding me!!! Don't bash the Knock Outs about leaving their former coach. They didn't do anything to him except stand by him as long as they could. If he is innocent of the accusations levied against him, it will come out in the end. In the meantime, who can blame them for moving on? That group is class act who made the best out of a bad situation.

East Texas Longhorns used to be a very good team. There Coach was DIFFERANT but the team always beat up on the dfw teams when they played ASA.

AMEN. I have to label this whole weekend as the back door to the nationals.I guess IF you just wanted a vacation in Normal then play this otherwise if you couldnt get to Normal playing the real ASA contenders stay home---what a joke.

I wouldn't call the week end "the Back Door to Normal,IL." There are a few very strong teams attending They are all in the top part of the bracket Way I see it!!!!!!!!!!

The ET Longhorns were sand baggers classified as B for the longest time. They only played top DFW teams a few times and it was never a blow out. I will admit the were a good team, and coached very well. The previous poster exaggerated about beating up DFW teams. I guess he is partially right maybe DFW's B teams.

I do believe they beat the 96 Diamonds 2 out 3 in a Kilgore tournament, I believe they also beat the texas travelers lusk before they changed their name in a tourney down in east tx. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I think from what I have heard is that the Knockouts are very picky who they replaced certain players with. Not the same talent as some of the players that they had lost. That is just the rumor that was heard.
