I'm not sure hotbox knows anything about softball! Hammer TPS was not hitting this week-end at all but their pitching was just over powering. They sent the Panthers to the losers Bracket with a 3-2 win in ITB. TPS's Lefty struck out the side of the panther's 1-2-3 hitters in their turn of ITB. Saturday nite TPS's lefty pitched a perfect game (no runs no hits no walks no errors) striking out 10 against Crush. Sunday morning TPS,s new right hand pitcher from Kaos struck out 9 and walked only 1 for a win. Sunday afternoon TPS's Lefty pitched another great game to win 1-0. The other teams played great. It was like you love to see fastball softball 1-0 games with all teams pitching well and playing great defense. TPS's Right hander was out with a thumb injury.

Thanks Really I appreciate the update. Hammer thank you as well you’re a wealth of knowledge.

Sorry, Tex I didn’t mean to ruffle your little feathers but I think I know a little bit about the game. For instance TPS looked a little shallow this weekend in the hitting area what happen to that depth you were referring to. Of course, the pitching looked good as always only because you got 6 to choose from. Speaking of pitchers who are the bracket pitchers anyway? Either all the teams are getting better or TPS is starting to slow the roll. Time will only tell. I see you guy’s pulled off another nail biter with the Panthers, good job.
On another note, the Rage looked average and Spring Klein looked the same. The Impacts coach looked a little high strung during bracket play. Is he always that way or did he pick that up from Tony.
Where was the Texas Sting?
Rumor has it the Crush is shopping heavily for a couple of utility players. They just may turn out to be contenders after all.

Really, TPS took the Kaos head coaches daughter.

If the SK Impact coach was a "little" high strung that is out of the ordinary for him most of the time he is "very" high strung :o

Don't ya just love it when a head coach/manager of a team folds up the team and jumps ship leaving 7-8 others in the winds while upgrading his own. He bailed on the 98 peppers (Head Coach there) to start this unique opportunity (Kaos 98) and now bailed on Kaos. It's one thing to lose a few players and struggle to make or have a team you have to actually coach and develop. But what kind of reputation does he now have?

FOR all you TPS haters- even the BEST have an off game some times. TPS still went undefeated this weekend without their #1 pitcher. And by the way- I only see 4 girls consistently pitching for them- if there are 6 pitchers on the team then 2 of them never get to pitch. The KAOS pitcher was a great pickup for TPS- she is a great pitcher and utility player in the field and in the batters box. When you are going to compete at the level that TPS plans to this year in USFA and ASA nationals- I think it was a smart move to pick up another good 2nd year pitcher.
