I think they have there pick with the best pitching in the Houston area on there team. It seems not to matter who they go with on the mound. 8-)

Hammer,
I am not a TPS parent, I love the game of softball and try to be a student of the game. A lot of trash talk can be spread around by eveyone and yes Sting is a very good team and can complete with TPS from week to week, but they do not have the depth that TPS has from either pitching or hitting. These TPS girls have what alot of teams do not have "alot of heart and a desire to win." Plus they have Jody who will not let them peak too soon and who keeps their heads on ground level. Jody and his coaching staff and parents make this team great.

I think it is been ground already coverd that TPS is a good team, one of the best in Texas. They have the deepest roster around, but you can only put nine on he field. I think Jody is a great coach and he is respected by every coach I know. I beleave there are some other teams with less talent that play as well and with just as much desire for the game. With less depth you can still win you just have to go about it a little diffrent. Like I said I always like a underdog in the big games. 8-)

I beg to differ Hammer. I think there have just been a lot big plays for them at the right time. That will eventually run out, it always does. Hopefully they won’t start losing because if that happens it’s going to be like a pack of wolves feeding on a carcass. I do recall a few teams that have had them all tightened up. Too name a few. I heard this past weekend the Lady Stro’s had them chewing their finger nails and if I’m not mistaken the Texas Sting had them in a switch too. Am I Wrong? Oh and Tex good luck on holding that team together for state! There's no doubt there’s depth on your team but that only goes as far as the parents will allow it.

Generally when you come out of the shoots saying you’re not a dad on the TPS team 9-times out of 10 you are. Lol. I promise I won’t tell Jody but if he finds out that means there could another 10 under team starting. In all fairness good luck TPS and Texas Sting i hope i haven't hurt anyones feelings if so too bad.

SK Impact 98:

Tony (tall marine coach) quit at TPS00 tourney a few weeks back after they 2 and Q'd. John Cumpton (cyfair storm 98 who Charlie from Tx Sting coached with before Sting) took over the team this should be interesting

Kaos:

I've seen a few eteamz adds looking for a team for girls from Kaos. I think the issue a lot of coaches will have is taking on the parents. The best on that team come with parents who will disrupt the unity of an establised team.

The stud of the team is the coaches daughter and he broke up the 98 peppers (where he was the coach) to take 4 girls to Kaos that could be an issue for alot of coaches.

Both of the other pitchers the 98 and 99 have parents that will be a challenge for any coach to handle
In the immortal words of the great Spazsdad "Don't get all butt hurt" ;)Image
