Who are legit in 14u?

Wow...what a weekend of softball. Rain delays really wreaked havoc. I truly felt sorry for the teams in the losers bracket right off...they played thru the night. We didn't do as well as we had hoped, tied for 5th but it's nice when your team is still there after so many of the "legit in 14u" on the list are gone ;)

I had an update (unofficial) from someone still there.

T-7th
Bombers 95
??

T-5th
Pearland Phantomz
TPS

Kruzers and Batbusters went 11 innings and Kruzers pulled it out

Batbusters 4th
Kruzers 3rd (took berth and left after playing all day, smart move)

Blaze Kirk and Coastal Elite playing for 1st and 2nd.

Congrats to Blaze, Coastal elite & Kruzers tough weekend for everybody, just goes to show if you dont bring your A game you wont be around long. I for one enjoyed watching the enthusiasm of the young ladies playing those very!! late games sat nite and giving it all they had with no complaining. Hope everyone got home safe, see yall on the dirt next time.

Yes, it was a great weekend to watch those teams battling through the rain.

It was a great weekend of softball. You had to overcome the weather and dig deap. I was amazed at the talent. I think many people looked at the brackets and assumed an easy road for some that did not prove to be so easy. I think many teams that were ovelooked and opened some eyes.

The road to nationals will be fun.

Congrats to Blaze, Costal Elite and Kruzers

Looks like North, South and Central was well represented.

The draw doesnt' matter if you have the talent to win. If you are weak and want to say you won a couple games I guess it may matter to you. I would rather play the top teams early, but it doesn't really matter. To be the best you beat the best.

96dad, I would tend to agree, and that theory was definitely tested this past weekend !! especially in the top half of the bracket !!! Unfortunately, some legit 14u teams got bounced before they could pick up any momentum............and some very good teams had to climb out of the losers bracket.................ouch !! It's a bruise to some EGO's but in this case, "to be the best you have to BEAT the best, not just play them"
The best game of the weekend.......... Batbusters (Montoya) vs Kruzers.........11 hard fought back and forth innings on both sides !!! Two Quality teams after a long day......... someone had to go home empty handed !! wow !

Congrats to Texas Blaze !! well deserved..........

We're playing in an invite only R/R this weekend, team list is a pretty tough one:
Magic 94
Jets 94
Hawks 94
Power 95
Kaos 95
Coastal Elite
Peppers 94

Should be some great softball played with all of these teams. It'll be good for some of these teams to knock the rust off (or at least get the HS bug out).
My daughter is perfect, she knows everything. Just ask her.
