Are the Hawks still in this tournament? They seem to be a favorite to be one of the top 3.

Nope 5 kids in the play offs. :x

BTW
High Voltage 94 is a good team. even if the parents badger a 14 yo about her batting stance.

mho

There are three solid consistant 14u teams in N. Texas.

BB Montoyo - I agree the best hitting team - solid pitching - with avg defense.

Kruzers - best defense in N. Texas - solid #1 pitcher but after that u have heat from one pitcher and stay off the rise balls from the other. Very solid hitting team.

Travelers - solid defense - maybe the best pitching combo - team hitting is inconsistant.

There are a bunch of other good 14u teams in N. Texas but those three are head and shoulders above everyone else.

Glory, Elite, Fusion, BB are all trying to get where these three have.

agree with you sbfan

no sour grapes from my first post as I have only seen that team play a couple of times. After watching them and looking up on registerASA there track record stood out.

we will have a better idea after san antonio as all those teams will be there

does anyone know if they will post scores or updates?

Haven't seen many of the South Texas or Central Texas teams so could be some teams I have left off. Both Glory teams (Poole) and (Adkins) probably should be playing 14U B, as well as the 14U Fusion.

You can tell what Dallas team your from. One of these teams sticks out like elementary school
Pick the one not like the others DOG CAT BIRD CHAIR. Power of elimination

I'm betting you are a parent on the Texas Glory or Fusion team that got slammed. . .

In the metroplex:
Kruzers (second best all around team; one of top teams in state)
BB Montoya (maybe best all around & the best hitting team in state; pitching will be question)

BB Montoya's two pitchers are probably the best two pitcher combo in the area at 14U, how can you say that pitching will be a question? This year they have played in two tournaments and finished 2nd at the Bomber and 1st in the 16U in Southlake.....

Travelers Lusk (third best all around team in metroplex)
Texas Elite Floyd (maybe the best overall 14u pitcher in metroplex with a proven offense/defense that can beat anyone anytime)

If you say that Texas Elite has the best pitcher in the metroplex, why are they never playing on Sunday ? By the way who is there number one pitcher, they seem to run someone new out there every week....

I don't see any Dallas team here that doesn't belong. . . just a bitter 14u parent left off the list.

Personally, I think Texas Glory (Adkins) belongs on this list, but they are still figuring it out. It might be later in the summer before they move to the top five.

They have had plenty of success over the last year, playing 18u, 16u, and 14u, and if you don't know that Shelby is their number 1 and don't know that she is among the top 2013 pitchers in Texas, then you just showed your "newbie" status at 14u. Good luck with your first-year experience when summer rolls around.
