Heard a rumor that the Red Hots added a pitcher from the Dallas area. Does anyone know the facts on this?

My opinion...... Bandits have the pitching depth for longer games.

Thunder have the hitting.

All in all, depending on the match-ups, there should be plenty of good games to watch.

Good luck to all!!!!

Looks like the Peppers are playing up in 14U in Deer Park. I guess the Fury is taking the weekend off after last weekends double dip of the Thunder.

Were there any really close games? Or did the Bandits over power the teams they played?
Just curious, missed most of it ;)

Yes, they did! That's a great group of well coached players. The top 4 finishers in 14u are exactly who I thought they would be even though teams are still having to deal with HS. I don't think any of the '94's had their full roster with them (some were scrambling the day of to find players) but it sure was nice to get out and play these teams. I saw some great plays in several games, it'll be nice to see some of these teams a little later on when everyone is healthy, done with HS ball and ready to play.

How did the Peppers fair against these 14u?

Honestly I'm not too sure, I watched a little bit of a couple of their games and they did look like a good 12u team. I think they finished in the middle of the pack, but again, I'm not too sure. This was a just pretty tough 14u bracket for them to play in with some of the best teams in the area IMO. Overall I would say they held their own considering the competition.
It would have been nice to see the '94 Peppers and the Hawks playing as well but I think HS ball kept them out, I do think they we're invited. 1 or 2 of the Hawks were playing pickup I do know that.
