What a loss. I took notice of the car he was driving. It is identical to the one DD drives.

She was t-boned once and hit a pole. We kept the car because it protected her so well. The drunk driver had to be flying.

All I can think about is a 22 year old kid playing the game he loves at the highest level and some A** Whole took that from him. I hope that every poster here on "Hey Bucket" can look back at every shining moment they have had with thier DD & understand, Know, & feel the pain that his parents are feeling.
To his parents I say "Nothing can take away what your son did, done or was. Love him. Do not think about what could've been. Just love him. Celebrate the life he lived not lost. Out of love. I will honor him by showing my DD how much I love her after every game. Good or Bad. We are all given a gift in life. Some it's throwing a ball or hitting it out of the park. For others it's working 16 hours a day to only hear how DD played the night before. These gifts must be cherished because they can be taken from us at anytime. I do not know you or your son personally. But I feel your pain. To you I say "Much Love To You And Yours, GOD BLESS"

My DD, 10 yr old....said, "Now will everyone stop driving drunk?".....I told her that unfortuanately wont happen. But what CAN happen is EVERYONE touched by this story and stand up more and tell people to NOT drive home...and tell themselves (those that need to)..I WILL NEVER DRIVE DRUNK AGAIN!!!!

Drove by the crash site last night. Nice memorial on both the North and South sides of Lemon/Orangethorpe. It was almost 1am, and people were there giving their condolences.

Just a little side note, Jon, the sole surviving passanger, is doing well. He moved his toes, grasped the hand of his doctor on command as well as opened his eyes for the doctor. He has a long road and needs major surgery for his back, which may in turn take his life. I know that there were 3 who died and all my prayers go out to their families, but maybe we can say an extra special prayer for the sole survivor and pray he recovers!!!
