Both Peppers HR's were INTO the wind as well. And what a wind it was. She absolutely crushed the ball.

That she did and into the wind is very impressive #27 and #77 are good friends and they are in competition to see who will hit the most HR's this year right now #27 leads 3 to 1. great job to both of those young ladies this weekend.
I would also like to say thanks to Gene and his High Voltage crew for putting on a great Tournament.

# 77 is a Great player but I've seen most 12u teams play and nobody in 12u can match the power the Pepper girl # 27 has. Best of luck winning that contest :D

Congrats to the peppers girl. Wind or no wind you still have to hit it solid. Also dont count out the lefty for the Fuego. She mashes the ball as well.

Nope not a Pepper parent but I know which field they were playing on on Sunday which had a 30 MPH wind blowing straight in. Not many older girls could have hit it out of the park with that wind on Sunday.

I would like to compliment the coaches, players and fans of Fury. I am a grandparent of one of the Texas Crush players and we met Fury twice this past weekend, winning the first, but losing the second game. I have only been around select ball for a couple of seasons, but I think the Fury coaches show a lot of class and are a fine example for not only their own players but for opponents as well. The prayer at the end of each game is nice, as well as their having the young man who seems to be a number 1 fan call the coin toss for the Fury team. Just a class act.

I am also very proud of our Crush team and the improvement they have shown in the last few weeks.
