Along with Joe, I too would like to send out my congratulations as well. Congratulations to Texas Glory Adkins 16U on your well deserved victory, you are a great team with great players. Way to show those 6th graders who is the boss. Congratulations to Glory Gray for allowing an inferior team to sneak past you. Also congratulations to 96 Glory, despite all of your "whining" (or should it be wineing, as in Dick Wines) and scheming to manipulate the bracket, you still managed to lose your first bracket game and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Finally, congratulations to the Longhorn players for their second place finish and overcoming some of the bone-headed moves by their head coach.

Everyone had a giggle this weekend about "Glory Ranch".

I have to add I was very impressed with some teams this weekend that I had never seen before, most notably TX Force 12U.

3B'er, you are right, Force is a good team and will be a tough draw for anyone. Was it just me or did anyone else notice how the clouds parted, the mist stopped and the sun shone when the Glory teams started their play on Saturday. I mean I knew they controlled N Tx softball and Glory Ranch, but I had no idea they could control the weather as well. Now, I really fear the dark side.

its would just be much more simple for everyone to go to VTD where we all know you guy's will tell us about the weekend.We would like to report this bit of late
breaking news 6 of the 16-"14u" players were given speeding tickets leaving the park. It appears the were all racing as they left the park. We have to question
why 14 year old players would be driving????????? oh how we wonder?????? But who are we to question the softball gods........................................
