Speedway Sparkplugs...will be sure and look you up...assuming we don't get ousted in the first round which is usually on Friday...I would probably show up at Ben Davis on Saturday anyway...a lot of friends(parents and players) would still be there.

Dreams had a good weekend!! Reese made the "ship" at 18U in the sportzone! Leming's team made a rare showing in St Louis and got to the "ship" but lost 1-0 at midnight last night!!

Congrats to both Dreams teams...I know Leming's team is 16u, is the Reese team also a 16u team...midnight, now that is a late tournament...how have the tournaments been at the Sportzone...I saw one tournament had around 18 teams if my memory serves me right.

We're heading to the Sportszone this weekend for an 18U tournament. We're playing the Greencastle Explosion and the Lake Effect in our pool (CG Explosion are also in our pool but we don't play them.) Game times: 2:30 and 3:40 AM on Friday night/Saturday morning. Hope we get that 1 seed so we don't have to play again until Sunday afternoon. Looks like a good group of teams at the tournament, about 20. Let you know how it turns out.

Coolstuff, good luck in the tournament this weekend. Those game times remind me of why we play one indoor tournament a year. We were fortunate the one we did play in and got the good tournament time after pool play ended. We have not played either of the teams you drew for the tournament so I cannot comment on their level of play. Again good luck.

Just got back from the 18U tournament at Sportszone. Teams in the semis were Express, Diamond Chix, Twisters and Shockwaves. Team Indiana lost to the Chix in extra innings, deserve a special mention. Diamond Chix made it to the final over the Twisters, again in extra innings. Don't know who won the Shockwaves/Express game since we were done for the day. DD's team hit four home runs - three solos in one inning! Then DD hurt her ankle sliding into second. HS tryouts in 10 days and she's injured. Great.

can anyone post the 16u results of the final Dome tournament of the winter..? our team made a quick exit Sunday morning, and we're curious how things shook out..? there was alot of parity up there, probably a dozen teams that "could've" made the final....there wasn't the usual one or two pitchers that really stood out this weekend.

That is why you don't play at the sportzone!! That surface is TERRIBLE!! I hope she is alright for school ball! Seen to many kids lose a season from that place! The Express got beat by the Chix in the final 3-2! Good tournament!

It's worse than it's ever been. The carpet seams are pulling apart. Our second baseman kept catching her toe on a seam. Jumped out of her shoe once. Another time she fell flat on her face.
