As in all human conflict, there is your story, their story and the real story. Always expect squalling when a new staff takes over. Doesn't mean squat to either side's argument. Smith may or may not be a jerk and may or may not be an exemplary human being.

The original post was about taking a team into either one of these organizations.. You better have a good team to do that. College coaches are seeing that BB and FC even Grapes are taking sub par teams( MONEY TEAMS) into the org.. Again speaking to a college coach that was looking for a BB team but didnt know WHICH team she was looking for all the email said was BB the player didnt specify which team. 3BB teams were at her location but didnt see they player she was looking for. What did she do? stayed at the complex she was at, she wasnt going to drive around to try and find this player, fields were to spread out. Yes a mistake by that player im sure lesson learned. To many teams to many fields. Saturday is the primary day for the coaches and they fly out on Sunday. I said player does her homework and has a dialog with that coach and they are interested and are given all of the information for the tournament they will find that player. They dont show up to a complex and say let me go find a BB or FC team and see what they have if they do, they go and find the TOP BB FC teams and again if they are the TOP TEAMS 90% of the players are committed already.

The entire systems needs to be revamped and go back EARNING a GOLD status. Teams are calling themselves GOLD when they have no business doing so.

I know for BB they will let you in for a year and if you stink it up they dont let you back. I have seen that first hand.

So if you have a top team sure take them into BB or FC but them be careful if you have good players the tops teams will poach your players and leave you with a weak team or they will dump a lesser player to you ( Money Player ) Yes have seen that happen too.

If what you say is true, then your daughter is the exception and not the rule. Kids contact coaches, refer them to their skills video, tell the coach of their interest in the school, send them their tournament schedules and meet them at tournaments. That's what happens.

You forgot the initial fee......unless your team doesn't require one. Does your kid take batting lessons from TR? He gets the bats for free and every decent team provides bags and helmets.

I don't believe you pay $25 per month.

And just because he gets the bats for free doesn't mean he has to give them away.. or have u heard of any other organization that gives away 350$ bats ?? And no my daughter doesn't get lessons from tony , but his facility his completely free and he does give free instruction along with current and former players that are in attendance.. so 25$ a month is well worth it for me at least

DD has played for 6 years in 2 big orgs other than FC. Never got a bat. I'll take it. TR definitely has a nicer truck than MS!

OK, here it is join whatever team you want.... I am OC Batbuster (Alvarez) himself, Mike Stitch doesn't dictate what each individual team charges that's on the coaches. We have a team org. yearly due it $200 bucks I split up for my parents and $100 is included in our start up fee which is $300 my dues are $170 a month and that includes unlimited EM speed & agility and LIVE pitching every Wednesday night by myself and other male fastpitch throwers..... A lot of bang for the buck and we are in every top showcase around, Early Thanksgiving, D9, IDT, Zoom into June, Champions cup

That $200 org fee part, goes to a Batbuster camp held every summer. I throw live at that camp and it is LOADED with coaches from all over the country D1 to NAIA and the truth is coaches come to our games and watch our girls because we have good talent. The coaches in our Org. actually care contrary to what you hear they devote a lot of time to these kids. Me personally, I'm open to throw live to all of my girls outside of our mandatory practice days and to other BB kids not on my team for free, how many coaches out there do that??

Love us or hate us we can care less but get your facts straight, we do everything in our power to get our kids to the next level and into college. At the end of the day that's what its about and if your kid didn't make a strong BB, FC, Athletics etc. etc. team or was unable to get playing time when they did make the team then that's on the kid because most of the BB coaches I know are pretty fair. So don't look for B.S. reasons to try and sh*t on us or other orgs because your kid fell short or didn't work hard enough.

Lastly at the Triple Crown this past weekend it wasn't luck that at the 16U level in the Gold and Silver bracket OC Batbuster teams won the championships.... And it wasnt luck that my team put up 8 yard clearing homeruns in six games.... Thats what is expected of them as a Batbuster!!!
