12U Predictions for the Bomber tourney

I sure wish the 14u division was so wrapped up already. We could just go straight to Nationals. Or maybe you were being sarcastic, that would make more sense.

My suggestion to people who have problems up at Bomber tournaments is kind of strange to some maybe. But here it is, if you have a problem, do what I did, go up to Scott and discuss it with him face to face. Or even better, grow a set, and dont hide behind some goofy ass screen name on the message boards. Scott may not solve the problem but you will probably end up understanding whats going on. And if you can do it better than him, then go for it, run a tournament like this, just invite Scott so he can learn as well.

My own wishes when playing this tournament was to have as many teams as we could so we could see and face, in the later parts of the tournament, a lot of good teams. The down side to having that many teams is the obvious, where and when do they all play. But I left that to Scott et al to worry about and we just played softball.

The biggest issue we had up there at the Bomber tournament was having things change, I believe it was the championship format, and not knowing where the change was posted. But that only affected two teams, mine and the one that lost. But, it got worked out and we learned where those things were posted. But, I asked Scott... to his face. And he answered, as I remember, loudly, but he answered.

What I would like to know is how many tournaments with 80 plus teams have you played in with no problems. I know this tournament isn't perfect but many of the 10 team tournaments we play in have issues as well.

As for the statement about the best teams not going. Its too early to tell, but there will be more teams at this tournament from around the state so we'll get to see some tough teams and thats why were playing.

You guys are losing it! This will be no test of top teams or measure for where teams are at. There are more first years teams than second year teams. What TOP teams are there, I would guess 3 or 4 of the TOP 25 in Texas will be there.

You want to see the best play the best, that will be May 15 in San Antonio. Any tournament between now and then simply can't say they have the best of the best, or even more than a few of the best. Looks like another season of strong 12U teams playing 14U, and strong 14U playing 16U, to find competition until it really counts. Any team that wants to poke their chest out in regard to their Bomber finish may as well brag about how they did at the tournament prior or the tournament following, there won't be any difference in the level of competition.

Isn't this what the Peppers did after they won the Katy Cristmas Classic... That tourney had alot of 97 teams but they posted how well they did anyway.

Anyway I thought your coach told you to lay off the hey bucket till ya'lls tourney has made and finished. At this rate no teams will sighn up for ya'll.
