A Comprehensive listing of all D I Softball schools

by Brooke's Dad » Thu Feb 12, 2009 11:26 am

Hello Hey Bucketeers!

***1st and foremost – this has been cleared / ok’ed by NumeroUno at heybucket.com. ***

Over the past month I have compiled an comprehensive list of what I believe to be each and every Division I softball program in the US (a total of 255 Colleges / Universities).

I have formatted it into an Excel spreadsheet so that it can be “filtered” by (but not limited to):

- Conference
- College / University name
- Mascot
- Coach’s First / Last name
- Email (Head Coach)
- Sign off (ie: “Go Rebels” for Ole Miss or “ Go Red Fox” for Marist or “Go Eagles” for Florida Gulf Coast University) to include when you “sign off” when writing a school.

As you can imagine – these was no small undertaking but I did it (selfishly) to help my daughter and I identify and communicate with the College / Universities she so desired.

I have decided to offer this File to you guys – at what I consider a very reasonable price of $15 (check or money order or Paypal).

If you would like this list – send me a PM here on heybucket – asking for the Information (by putting the phrase “Division I Schools” in the Subject line.

Also – at that time supply me with the email address that you wish me to send the information to..

I will respond with an mailing address for you to send in your payment.

Once I receive the payment – I will email you the list within 24 hours… if you pay via check – it will be after the check clears my bank.

While I have done my very best to provide accurate information – I cannot guarantee that each and every email address will be up to date (as they can change at any time) w/o any notice

If you are not interested in this information – please disregard this post and have a great day.

Respectfully ~

Brooke’s Dad

PS: NumeroUno has my complete name and all contact information (work email, work and cell phone numbers) - if there is any question / issue.

Also - there are several people from heybucket that actually know me and would be happy to "call me out" if I do not provide what I am advertising.

***** I will also provide you with a Hyperlink that list hundreds of Colleges / Universities official websites (many more that the 255 D I "Softball schools" mentioned above) as a part of this offering. *****

Not wanting to take anything away from Brooke's Dad - and if the moderator feels this post is inappropriate, please feel free to delete it - but similar information has already been compiled at this site (and there is a LOT of other good info here):

under the "updated college coaches" link.

Hope this is helpful for some of you.

If it is free, it is a no-brainer----hope it is, since we are all here to help the girls, not capitalize off them...we hope anyway!

The eteamz link is a good link as well. The great thing about BD's work, is that he as all the direct email address' to the coach! It's easy to find the email to the athletic dept, but it's a pain to try and find the coaches email.

Lori, we could say the same about people who charge for video fees and web page fees. I think $15 is a deal!

JMHO! ;)

It's a great list, and a lot of work put in it. I have seen several of the free listing out there, and they dont' compare with this list. If you have a DD in the recruiting process, it's a great tool to use.

PS. I wouldn't think by selling this list, BD is capitalizing on the girls. He put a lot of hard work in the list. $15.00 will save me a bunch of time.

Good Luck

Hey BD

Money pulled or tore (Minor) her high hamstring about a month ago. She has been playing with the pain since. Someday it doesn't bother her at all, and somedays she has trouble walking. We took her Tuedsay to Texas Sports Medicine in The Woodlands and to have a doctor look at it. He said that she injured it in the worst place (at the Pelvic bone) and this area takes the longest to recover. He told her no sprinting for 10 days, and it would probably take up to 4 months to fully recover. He told her after the 10 days, she could resume playing. Told her somedays she would have to play with the pain.

I think her main problem is that she has been leading off as DH for the high school so the instead of staying loose playing the outfield, she getting cold between AT BATS. You know as a Slapper / Bunter, she is going in to sprint.

I read about Brooke's push bunt online at Conroe Courier. Ask her where that speed came from?
